## What is Pay the One?

We've all been there. Someone plays Rhystic Study and from that moment on, every single spell gets the same question: "Did you pay the one?"

Your opponent casts a creature? "Did you pay the one?"
A removal spell? "Did you pay the one?"

They sigh and tap out? Should've paid the one!

Now there's an app for that. One button. One sound. Maximum salt. Hit it every time they cast a spell. Make them regret not paying {1}.

And because we're not monsters, we also built a full life counter. 2-6 players, commander damage tracking that mirrors player positions, poison counters, energy, experience, format presets for Standard, Commander, 2HG and Brawl, a dice roller from D4 to D20, random starting player and custom player names.

No accounts. No subscriptions. No nonsense. Just open it and play.

Built by Commander players, for Commander players. Always pay the one.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-04-30

New in 1.1:
Commander Art — Search and select your commander directly from the Scryfall database. Your commander's art is displayed on your life tile.

Life History — Every life change is now tracked. Tap the clock icon to see a full log with timestamps — never argue about life totals again.

Reset Protection — The reset button now asks for confirmation, so no more accidental game resets mid-combat.

Downwards compatibility to iOS 16

### 1.0 — 2026-04-11
