After that, I was asked to provide more information, including my bank statement, paystub, and other documents. Three days later, they closed my account. When I contacted them, they said the account had to be closed and that my money would be reversed back to my bank account within 3–7 days. Now it’s been over 7 days, and nothing has been received in my bank account. Whenever I call them, they tell me to contact my bank, while my bank keeps saying there’s no incoming transaction. I later contacted PayAngel again, and they requested my bank statement, promising to get back to me. It’s now been over 48 hours with no response. I called them again today, only to be told that “the transaction was voided and they can’t resubmit it again.” Everyone should be careful with them. They’ll take your money, ask for a lot of documentation, and still fail to either refund you or deliver the money to the recipient. ### 1/5 — AVOID this app at all cost *2026-03-11* PayAngel used to be a good app until it wasn’t. They have the worst customer service team who will rudely disregard your inquiry and hang up the phone on you as if they are doing you a favour with your own money. You can’t use Ghana passport for verification ### 1/5 — Worse App Upgrade *2025-12-05, version 3.0.0* You guys upgraded the app interface and made it worse. The login sucks. Total loss of saved contacts and accounts. You took a good working system and decided to just wreck it. It’s time consuming just to get money sent to someone. ### 1/5 — Uninformed Team *2025-10-29, version 2.0.98* I used pay angel to send money Uganda, I was using mobile money and the money was sent to someone else, I contacted airtel Uganda to block that money from being received by that person and when I called pay angel to reverse the money no body could help me. All their customer service only told me to wait and none could get back until I gave up on the money. It used to be a good app but not anymore.
