They use a fake USDC airdrop as bait to make you download their app and connect your sensitive third-party accounts (ChatGPT/Claude). After you jump through all their hoops, they drop a sudden "restricted region" excuse to deny you the reward while keeping your data. Total waste of time and a massive privacy risk. Stay away! ### 1/5 — Null *2026-07-31* I still waiting my airdrop that I never received and o created my account the 29 July ### 1/5 — I’ll rate this with -♾️ *2026-07-31* We don’t want this kind of shady agents. ### 1/5 — Hidden Eligibility Rules Used to Push Wallet Access and Deposits *2026-07-31* MoonPay promoted this campaign as a PayBox/AI wallet test and explicitly stated that users “only need a Claude or ChatGPT account.” Following those instructions, I installed the plugin, created an account, granted wallet access, deposited real funds, tested transactions, and spent hours waiting for the promised USDC reward. Only after the reward became available did the claim page reveal that it was restricted to “verified MoonPay customers.” In reality, users also needed a MoonPay account, identity verification/KYC, and regional eligibility. This decisive requirement was not clearly disclosed during the promotion or testing process. Had it been stated upfront, many ineligible users would never have installed the plugin, granted wallet access, deposited funds, or provided related data. The product was also extremely unreliable: connections repeatedly expired, signing keys had to be resubmitted, transactions remained stuck, and permissions were difficult to revoke. This campaign appeared designed to generate installations, wallet connections, real transaction testing, and user data through incomplete and misleading information—not to conduct a transparent and trustworthy product test. Set up my wallet, connected it to Claude, and I was swapping SOL and booking stuff through conversation without jumping between five different apps. Passkey approvals feel solid and the non-custodial part is the real move. Still early but this is the first time AI payments felt useful instead of gimmicky. (It took me less than 2 minutes to fully sign up, create my account link to moonpay, and X, meanwhile easily swapping USDC for a token launched on the solana blockchain via Claude.
