I am now owed a few hundred dollars and have not seen a payment since February. Don’t waste your time it is excuse after excuse for non-payment. ### 1/5 — They won’t pay you *2020-04-23, version 2.2.2* Only use this app if you have plenty of time to spare and don’t mind the fact that they won’t pay you. It’s been almost 5 months and still haven’t received gift cards even though I paid the 30 dollar monthly fee. It’s one excuse after another as to why they aren’t paying. A quick google search of the owner of this app will show you lawsuits filed that seem to show prior history of defrauding people. This review doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of all the things wrong with this app and the people who run it. Stay far away from this nightmare! ### 1/5 — They don’t pay *2020-04-15, version 2.2* They used to be good but started to take money out of people’s accounts retroactively over referrals that had been paid months earlier. Some people gamed the system at the time but they did it to people who did not as well. Then they stopped paying all together. They blamed covid-19 at first but no one is getting paid. ### 4/5 — Great App for earning extra money *2020-03-02, version 2.0* I started playing on the app in January, and since then I have brought a few family members in on playing as well. This is the first app I have used for earning extra money. I love it. I actually just got a payout this morning! $50 towards our Disney trip! Thank you PayBud!!!! ### 1/5 — Don’t trust the reviews you see *2020-02-27, version 2.0* Most of the 5 star reviews you see is because paybud ambassadors have bullied people into giving them. It’s a fun app and good concept but you don’t ever get paid. You deal with excuses and people bullying you and telling you if you leave a good review you’ll get paid but you never do. The owner has run many money scamming schemes before. BEWARE! ### 5/5 — Great App *2020-02-26, version 2.0* Awesome rewards app. I was skeptical at first. But I received 2 of my rewards and won a contest for a $25 gift card. They are a little behind on payment but I still got my PayPal. And if you pay for the upgrade you will make your money back and way more. This app has helped me so much!!!! Also need to mention that they hired ambassadors to help out with any issues and they are all super awesome and helpful ! ### 5/5 — Recommend *2020-02-26, version 2.0* Love this app.. though small glitches but can’t complain when you’re making money ### 4/5 — Who doesn’t love extra 🤑 *2020-02-26, version 2.0* There are definitely a few kinks with the games not giving the correct amount of points or sometimes loosing out on a game.. unfortunately, these issues have been addressed in the FB group but aren’t taken seriously. Overall, it’s worth the time it takes to play for the amount in gift cards I’ve been able to earn. ### 1/5 — Scam *2020-02-20, version 2.0* You have to pay to use this app. They only pay you not even half of what you earn. The owner has a 20 year history of scamming people out of millions. The 5 star reviews from December to now are employees reviews. The customer service is terrible. They dont even reply when you email them about your payments. Do not waste your time with this app. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2020-02-19, version 2.0* They won’t pay you. They took $30 in pts from me and then only showed me redeeming for a $15 card. That was over 30 days ago. No reply to emails about payment at all! Don’t waste your time as you won’t get paid. That’s if they don’t ban you because one of their paid “ambassadors “ doesn’t like you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — They do not pay...RUN *2021-01-07, version 2.4* They have been “restructuring their payment plans” for a year now. If you want to waste your time on money you may never receive, go for it. They delete all negative comments from their social media, their admins are brainwashed, and they hide everything. ### 1/5 — SCAM stay away!! *2020-10-27, version 2.4* They claim to pay rewards but I have played since January almost $600 in reward gift cards I have earned but they have not paid a single dime! The Facebook group will ban you if you mention anything about not being paid! They can make excuses after excuse but truth it they have no money and no plan to pay anyone ever. Still no payment it’s now October! STAY AWAY!! ### 1/5 — No one’s been paid since January *2020-09-20, version 2.4* Horrible app, horrible company, and horrible staff. Paybud used to be great, but they ran out of money quickly. No one’s been paid since January. They come up with excuse after excuse as to why they can’t pay people. If you complain, you get suspended/banned. Most of the 5 star reviews highlighted are from their facebook group moderators! If you post a negative comment about Paybud anywhere, they’ll ban you for speaking out. The employees share users’ private information as payback for complaining about not being paid. Totally disgusting and despicable app. ### 1/5 — RUN! *2020-09-09, version 2.4* I’d give it zero stars if I could. They bribe “ambassadors” to make their social media look like people are loving the platform. They have previously bribed users to write positive reviews... so I’d take what you see here with a grain of salt. I can provide screenshots! I paid for two months of premium membership, spent HOURS every day on the app, and I have nothing to show for it. Luckily I got my money back from PayPal- but there goes the $650 they owed me from redemptions that I’ll never get. ### 1/5 — Don’t do it *2020-07-18, version 2.3* I’ve spend $60 for 2 months and have wasted hundreds of hours playing to get points and to redeem my gift cards. I haven’t received anything and for my redemption in January and February. Currently working on a refund. Emailed corporate and complaining does nothing. They send an email back saying that can’t respond at this time. ### 1/5 — Don’t play. Can’t redeem for anything. App stopped paying out in March. *2020-07-10, version 2.3* No point in playing and earning points because you can’t redeem. PayBud “corporate “ put redemptions on hold when in late March, but even before then redemption payouts were 60-90 days behind. This app DOES NOT pay out. Don’t play and waste your time on this game. I was a premium member for 5 months and the app regularly paid out redemptions. PayBud holds free weekly contests but you’re better off playing the lottery. ### 1/5 — Do NOT waste your time *2020-06-06, version 2.3* This company does everything it can to not pay what you have earned. I’ve been waiting for 4 weeks for a gift card and just received an email that states they are not responding to any emails and not doing any payouts. If I can figure out who to file a complaint with I will be doing that too. :( By the way....if the workers have time to monitor the Facebook group to block people speaking their truths...they have time to press a button and send out the gift cards earned... ### 1/5 — Excuse after excuse *2020-06-02, version 2.2.2* First excuse was that they were getting fraud accounts from a foreign country Second excuse Covid 19 Third excuse we are restructuring Paybud has not conducted itself like a business and they come up with new excuses to not pay people. Over 120 days I have been waiting for payment and now they say they will not make payments while they restructure. I paid a membership fee and it looks like I will need to pursue getting my money by other means. It has been over 4 months already. They block everyone on social media from commenting and the only people who make positive comments on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are all ambassadors. Beware!!!!! ### 1/5 — No payment. Still waiting from January. Rude social media *2020-05-12, version 2.2.2* This app gets paid by their running ads on their site but they don’t pay everyone. They pay a few select people their hush money and that’s it. I have been waiting for my redemption from January. People are not downloading this app to lay the games. They are downloading to earn “beermoney”. Well that beer money is not coming. Don’t bother posting on their Facebook page because they will just block you. They don’t respond to support emails either. Waste of your time ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time. No payouts *2020-05-04, version 2.2.2* I read all the reviews on here and wanted to try it myself and see. I played consistently for 3 months, and even did the paid subscription for playing. I should be owed $500 in payouts but it’s been months and still haven’t seen any money. Offers, the Hideout TV partnership, hourly games, promo codes, PayBud Arcade and the list goes on! You’ve got to check it out. I love PayBud and am excited to explore all the earning opportunities! ### 5/5 — Review about paybud app and its contest(freemoney) *2020-07-03, version 2.3* Paybud is really legit it is also the easiest app to earn money. This app is very smooth and never had any problems when playing. Right now i consider this app as the number1 legit app and idon’t think any app can beat paybud. Because they also have have promo/contest the (freemoney in which a lo of people have a chance to win multiple prizes. While the positive 4-5 star reviews are raving about different aspects. If you download this app to support you, sure a one star review is coming. After playing the games and checking out the different features PayBud does offer a lot. The money payout aspect of this app should always be a bonus, and a great bonus at that. This app is free, if you’re addicted to the app there are ways to enjoy it more often through paid memberships. But I have yet to need to pay to do anything on the app, and I’ve had it over a year now. Tldr- not a scam. If you’re counting on this app to support you, please apply for a job. If you like games that add up points for real life “bonuses” this app might be perfect for you, as long as you aren’t trying to live off app money. 5/5 paybud is exactly as advertised. YES IT IS *2020-03-08, version 2.0* Constantly changing polices, SLOWEST PAYOUT OF ANY EARNING APP OUT THERE IF YOU GET PAID AT ALL. They will close your account if you question them at all, even if you’re paying $30/mo to be a member. ### 5/5 — I’m enjoying paybud *2020-03-01, version 2.0* I have been using the app for about three months, first for free then updated to the gold tier. I have made about $135 in gift cards. They do take 30-45 days to pay and sometimes you have to email but all in all it’s been well worth the investment. ### 5/5 — Pretty good actually *2020-02-28, version 2.0* 3 days in with a platinum account ($30 but totally worth it) and I just bought my first $25 gift card in the shop. Set an alarm to remind you to play each hour and you’ll be raking in gift cards in no time. Green account is good if you want to be casual and not spend any money, but platinum is really where it’s at for earning points. ### 5/5 — Wonderful App! *2020-02-27, version 2.0* PayBud is definitely the best app out there. I make more off of this app than any other app I use. I suggest you upgrade to the Platinum level as you get more games, bigger rewards which means a quicker cash out.
