From on excuse to another. It’s either the card is not working at the moment or you can’t find the card. Not trusted. I got the Visa card and still had issues. Thankfully, customer service was patient enough to see it to a satisfying conclusion. Fix Mastercard. I need my money ### 3/5 — Dispensing and refunding error *2023-04-21* Ever Since I’ve joined this app it’s so boring and their network is extremely bad I wanted to buy items online and I made a payment then I cancelled the order and payday debited me and it has not been refunded till today I mail them times without number they don’t reply me , this is a scam app I’m not tryna leave bad review but the challenges am facing right now ### 1/5 — PayDay a Scam Company *2023-04-19* On March 17th, I created and funded my Payday virtual card. Later, I purchased a digital product which I ended up returning, and the company refunded the amount through PayPal. PayPal confirmed that the funds were returned to Payday, yet I have not received the refund on my virtual card. Payday's customer service has not answered my inquiries regarding this matter and has repeatedly closed my chat without providing any explanation. This has caused me significant distress, as I worked hard to earn that money. Their customer care is below average, and their slow response time has resulted in several fake Payday impersonators attempting to scam me. Therefore, I strongly advise against using Payday, as they are a fraudulent company who may end up stealing your money. ### 1/5 — Poor Customer service *2023-03-18* Your customer service is very poor and bad you guys don’t reply message I don’t know where else we can reach your official support, due to the bad customer service I got hacked up by a scam he told me he was a customer representative which I explain my experience to him concerning the app then he sent me a link for me to click on which I did to make a better complaint the next thing I saw was an otp email which I Input it immediate all my funds was wiped off please I need a help and be refunded i wonder how it happened it was moved to a chipper cash account 😭😭😭😭 ### 1/5 — Scam Banking App *2023-03-11* This is the most annoying banking and most legit scamming app i ever see, I would advise App Store to remove this useless scamming banking app called Payday from their platform , imagine using usd virtual card for transactions and it keep fail while they debit you for several times without reverse since over one month, they promised to refunds with 15 days and it more than 30days no refund. Very poor customer service. This is the most scam online bank but i them the can’t go with my money that’s sure guck payday. ### 1/5 — Terrible payment gateway, terrible customer service *2023-03-10* I made an enquiry from the customer support before I decided to use this app for a payment I was assured of how seamless the service is which promoted me to try it out. Considering that the purchase I was trying to use the virtual dollar card for is huge I tried transferring a small amount which was deposited almost immediately, I decided to deposit a larger amount and it’s been almost 24hrs I’m still yet to receive the money in my payday app neither do I have the reversal of the money in my account. I contacted my bank first thing today to know if the transaction was successful and I was assured to contact the other person I sent the money to as the money have been deposited to the person account till now I’m still yet to receive my money and I’m almost at the deadline for the purchase I wanted to make also the customer service takes hours to respond to complaint. I hate to do this but I wouldn’t recommend this service to anymore. If I could do a zero star I honestly would . Terrible experience once I’m able to use up my funds on the card I’m deleting asap. I had problems finding my account and I complained about it, they sent me messages from another account. Asking me to click on a link, and yes they’ll tell you on their main verified page not to click on any link, I did found out it’s basically same people doing the same scam, the email used in sending otp is the same used when you try to change password on the platform. So if they’re scammers how were they able to use your email to send otps??? ### 1/5 — Debited twice for Visa card setup that never happened! Now I’m down $10 and have no card. Please return my money so I can leave your platform for good. It is clear you guys don’t know what you are doing. Nice idea but bad implementation. Old review: Rate on Leather back was N747/$1 while Payday quoted N753. Also buy rate for dollar was N735? Why? The margins shouldn’t be that wide. Also why can’t I transfer from my dollar account to another dollar account but I am forced to sell my dollar at your unfriendly rate because I can only transfer to a naira account? That’s not the promise. Your money means nothing to them. You have a better chance getting your plastic National ID card than getting a reply for their support. After about 2 months of back and forth with support, I lost close to $100 when they finally scrapped the Mastercard, no trace, no response from support. They run this application like it’s some form of Ponzi scheme in the background, a lot of social media PR and ads, with a little to no proper functioning feature. So I did bank transfer to Providus account till date the money is yet to reflect at first I taught I was network so I decided to chat the customer care up after 24 hours he attended to me nicely and he said by the end of today 23april the money will reflect and I it doesn’t I should chat him up again I have been chatting him now is not replying. I tried the Visa card but the web kept rejecting it but PayDay made sure to contact the card issuer to resolve the issue. They responded to my messages even in the middle of the night. Thankfully, in less than a week I was able to make the payment with my PayDay Visa card. I pray their service gets better. The only thing i see is sometimes the usd account may not display and the fixed buttons in some layouts interfere with the forms and the scroll bounces back under the button.
