My problem that has dropped the rating so far is the predatory recharge system. Not being able to refill my account with anything below $10 without paying a fee or not being able to add cents. They know that extra change will never be spent and the day they close down the app they’ll take it. I should be able to add some amount ending in $0.80 to bring my current amount to a whole number. ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-08-02, version 7.1.0* Everyone that works on this app should be put in prison ### 1/5 — Total BS App & A Waste Of Time. *2026-07-30, version 7.1.0* Moved into an apartment building, where I have to download this app to do laundry. I have downloaded the app made an account and I get an “Error” message every-time I try to connect my card to upload funds. I have uninstalled/deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times and am still getting an error message, wether it be “Error, invalid card” or “Error, There was a problem performing this operation refresh the page and try again”. I have tried for two days to get it to work, I have spent 2 hours on the phone with my bank and a bank representative said that everything is fine on my bank account end and it must be something wrong with the app and to contact their customer service and I have sent multiple emails into their “Customer Service” email asking for help. Only to receive one response email telling me to uninstall the app and redownload it. I am to the point of just going to a laundromat so I can do mine and my children’s laundry as this app is completely useless, a waste of time and total BS!!! ### 1/5 — New Scam Just Dropped! *2026-07-29, version 7.1.0* Isn't it so nice that you have to download an app to use the vending machine at work because it won't take your credit card? I'm so glad it won't let me just pay for the snack I want and instead forces me to use the "Fund Your Account" option. Isn't it so convenient that it charges you a fee for adding anything under $10? After paying for the washer it makes me reload my balance to minimum 10 dollars. Mind you, the dryer only costs 4 and I already paid 4 for the washer without needing a balance reload. After the dryer I have six left in my account which I want to put back on my card but the next day my account doesn't seem to exist anymore. When I ask support about returning my remaining balance they say I have no account. Simple concept that is done poorly ### 1/5 — Bad UX/UI *2026-07-17, version 7.1.0* It’s comically easy to overpay. If you’re about to overpay for something, It shows a half-hearted pop-up warning you you’re about to overpay, but the pop up looks like every other pop-up the app uses so the user is likely to dismiss it without actually reading the warning. Also has a bug that consistently makes it so it’s impossible to select any items from a dropdown menu, forcing you to close and re-open the app. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-07-16, version 7.1.0* The entire service is terrible. They don’t work half the time. They have taken my money. I have reached out to customer support multiple times no resolution the same generic AI email back. No actual human contact if you have problems you’re just out of luck. This app will take your money and say and do nothing. On top of that, it forces a $10 minimum load even when you only need a dollar or two. Nobody needs to prepay $25 to do a $5 wash. But the app defaults to $25 and has no confirmation screen so if you inadvertently swipe the wrong thing, well, that’s your bad luck. The app gives no option to refund the balance. No response from the customer service email. This should be a class action lawsuit. ### 1/5 — Added $40, shows $0. Multiple times *2026-08-09, version 7.1.0* Payrange has always been broken for me. Not once have I added money to my balance to find it there again next day. I have to add more money, and only then does Payrange remember I gave it $40 last time. I’m forced to use this app in my apartment and the nearest laundromat is miles away. Gouge, gouge, gouge. ### 1/5 — Can’t delete my account *2026-08-05, version 7.1.0* The app (I was forced to download it to pay for laundry) is easy enough to use but they have no mechanism to delete your account (and dear god why do I need them to harvest my data when I am just trying to do laundry? This app is wholly unnecessary). The delete account button populates an email sent to customer support who then tells you your account either cannot be found or it needs to be deleted by the user (remember pressing the “delete account” button results in an email to customer service). I’m clearly logged into my account still. Maddening. ### 1/5 — I’d rather pay in cash *2026-08-05, version 7.1.0* I hate that my apartment building makes me use this app. Why can I only upload $25 at a time? I’d rather pay in quarters. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2026-08-05, version 7.1.0* This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used. It simply doesn’t work. My apartment building uses this for the laundry machines. It’s slow to load. The QR code scan doesn’t work. It doesn’t recognize the machine numbers when you enter them manually. You have to close and reload the app about 10 times to get it to recognize machines via Bluetooth that are within feet of it. Then it takes about a minute to connect and process. Customer Support is always fast to reply, app is almost never down, and I have never had any headaches using the app. The customer support is the best feature of this app, they are always helpful! ### 5/5 — Responsive Customer Service *2026-07-08, version 7.1.0* The app is very easy to understand and use. I don’t need to carry around change and put them into the machine. Very great design. I had an issue with payment on one of the washing machines, but when I contacted customer service, I got a refund. Jen responded within five minutes! Keep in mind that you’ll need a good internet connection in addition to bluetooth on for the app to work properly. The cell service is very spotty in our basement laundry room, so I have to keep waving my phone around to get a good signal for data. Sometimes the app will log me out and it will take a few attempts to log back in successfully, and then find the available machines via bluetooth. It would be great if they had wifi in the laundry room to help with this.
