## What is Payroll Dice?

CONTROL THE CHAOS
This isn't a luck simulator. This is strategic dice manipulation. Throw 3 dice. Rotate each die to any visible face. Score to pay your debts.
BUILD YOUR PERFECT DICE
Spend pips in the shop after each roll. Add new faces, craft synergies, and build something that probably shouldn't work — until it does. Every decision compounds. Every run feels different.
FACE THE LOAN SHARK
Clear your debts and the shark himself shows up. He doesn't play fair. Boss rounds twist the rules with random modifiers.
8 DICE SETS TO UNLOCK
Different starting faces, unique passive abilities, and entirely new combo potential — every unlocked die opens a fresh tactical rabbit hole.

Over 100 Unique Dice Faces
Rotate Dice to Control Your Luck
7 Unlockable Dice — each transforms how you play
Boss Rounds with Random Modifiers
Endless Mode — difficulty scales infinitely
15–30 Minute Runs — perfect bite-sized sessions
True Roguelike — no permanent upgrades, pure skill
Strategic Combo Crafting
High Replayability

NO SAFETY NETS. NO EXCUSES.
No meta-progression. No permanent upgrades. Every run starts from zero.
Build from blank dice to devastating combos in 10 rounds. Think you've figured it out? Endless Mode is waiting.
Simple to learn. Impossible to master.
Throw. Rotate. Score. Shop. Survive.
Can you pay off the loan shark before he cashes in?

### 1/5 — misleading

*2026-06-14*

this is the biggest gaming disappointment i ever had. i love luck is a landlord and balatro to death and i especially love games with dice in the analog world and dicebuilders. so i was beyond excited when i found this game and immediately bought it.
to make it short: its not really about dice. the concept that you can select 3 sides of the dice destroys the whole dice thing. each dice you roll could also very well be a deck of cards where you draw 3 cards and pick one. so unexciting. thats the point of rolling dice, that you have to take what you get. and then spend rerolls if you are not happy. that would be exciting with each roll and it would be quick. with this game you are just trying to decide for the best combinations of up to 9 dice faces. its slow, its math, it has nothing to do with dice.
also how is this game not in portrait mode? most of the time the game just uses the middle of the screen anyways. here you have a dev who cleary wants a piece of cake of the balatro hype, and he does not even know of - or considers that one thing the whole fanbase is always asking for. plus the text is to small and i have young eyes...

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed feedback — it's clear you know the genre well.

You're right that the pick-3-faces mechanic trades the "take what you get" tension of real dice for more of a builder/optimizer loop. That was a deliberate choice, but if raw dice chaos is what you're after, I understand why this missed for you.

Portrait mode and text size are fair points, and both are on my list.

Happy to sort out a refund — just email me at realthyme1@gmail.com.
Sorry it wasn't what you hoped for.

### 5/5 — Clever twist, well-presented

Any chance this could be portrait oriented? It’d be a great one-thumb game

### 5/5 — The deck builder to rule all deck builders

*2026-03-16*

Payroll is both a beautiful looking game and super addictive. I sit down to play for 5 minutes and 45 minutes go by. It has so many facets and interesting mechanics which make it infinitely replayable. I can’t recommend enough
