Super slow to respond by the time you wait 15 seconds for one click to approve your already clicking all over the place, and the app keeps crushing. I’ve written to the support chat about this problem many times and asked to get the money back or for the transaction to be completed. So be ready to stuck with your transaction for Nobody knows how long! Also when you ask them to cancel your transaction you just have to believe it was canceled because there's no confirmation on the app/email. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. A few months ago, everything worked perfectly—transfers were very fast, and the money reached my mom almost immediately. However, during the last month, I’ve been experiencing the same problem every time I send money. The funds are deducted from my bank card, but my mom never receives them. In the app, the transaction becomes inactive, and I can’t even check its status. Each time, I have to contact customer support and ask them to investigate the transfer. After about a week, the issue usually ends with the money being refunded to my card instead of being delivered. On July 30, I made five transfers totaling $1,334.29. The money was immediately withdrawn from my bank account, but none of the transfers were delivered. I contacted customer support right away. They opened a support ticket and promised to investigate, but no one ever followed up. Four days have passed, and they have completely stopped responding to my messages. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a money transfer service. Having over $1,300 disappear while receiving no meaningful support is completely unacceptable. If you decide to use Paysend, be extremely cautious. Test the service with a small amount first, and never send another transfer until the previous one has been successfully received. Otherwise, you could end up in the same situation, with your money gone and no response from customer support. ### 1/5 — Terrible customer service *2026-08-03, version 4.9.21* Customer service is poor. Instead of them helping they rather send you emails about the conversation you had with… how does that resolve the issue ### 1/5 — Worst Experience with Paysend *2026-08-02, version 4.9.21* I had a very disappointing experience with Paysend. I initiated two transfers (USD 1,619 and USD 900) on June 5 and June 8, 2026. Both transactions failed, but the money was debited from my account. Paysend later informed me that the refunds were processed on July 6, 2026, and even provided a refund confirmation letter. However, I have still not received my money. My bank, Bank of America, informed me that they had not received a response from Paysend regarding my dispute, and despite numerous emails and phone calls over the past two months, Paysend has not provided the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) or any refund trace details that would allow my bank to locate the funds. As a customer, waiting this long for a refund of USD 2,519 with little or no communication is extremely frustrating. I hope Paysend takes responsibility, provides the required refund trace information, and resolves this issue promptly. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Non existent support *2026-08-22, version 4.9.23* Don’t expect to get any help if you are stuck with their service. The support ticket will be open in Zendesk, but then closed with no resolution. Zendesk will send you dozens of emails with the same information as in your chat but no response from the support for hours, and then they close the ticket. This was last time I tried to use this service. Happily found a simpler, more reputable and cheaper alternative. ### 1/5 — Mala experiencia con paysend *2026-08-20, version 4.9.22* Paysend ha sido una experiencia muy mala. Cada vez que uno intenta hacer un envío es un problema. Te toman el dinero, después cancelan la orden y, si ya hiciste uno o dos envíos, pueden quedarse con tu dinero durante 3 o 4 días. Uno muchas veces manda dinero a nuestro país por una emergencia o para ayudar a un familiar, y no puede darse el lujo de tener el dinero retenido por varios días. Para mí, el servicio no está cumpliendo con lo que uno espera de una compañía de envío de dinero. No recomiendo Paysend. Screen only shows transfer history, and anything I try to send to my friend overseas gets returned to me. No customer service available when I call, and when my spouse tried to sign up, it says “verification in process” WAY past the “up to 24 hours”. As of yet, still not verified. Avoid this service at all costs. ### 1/5 — They’ll bury you in paperwork over $10 *2026-08-15, version 4.9.22* Sent $10 through Paysend to a family member abroad. The transfer was rejected by the recipient’s bank and reversed on her end. That part is normal. What’s not normal is Paysend’s response. Instead of tracing the RRN (which they already have, and which shows exactly where the money is) support keeps asking me to get “official proof of reversal” from the recipient’s bank, hours on hold with a bank that isn’t even mine, over $10. If this is how they handle a small refund, imagine a bigger one.
