DBA PaySii has partnered with AVENU, a division of FDIC-insured MainStreet Bank, to offer the current customers the option of opening a digital bank account also known as PaySii Wallet. The customer, if approved, would have the option to use such a wallet to pay for its remittance/transaction, and/or make other (digital) payments to other compatible devices, granted there are funds available. These funds can be added to the wallet using debit or ACH mechanisms from the customers’ own bank account. The wallet will be under the control of Avenu. - This product is only available in the continental United States to those of legal age that meet the requirements stated in the Terms of Condition. - To a degree, some customers’ information (such as name, address, identifiable information, and other) will be shared with AVENU for our everyday business purposes such as to process your transactions and maintain your account(s). For any customer assistance or support, PaySii will be the primary point of contact, and if needed, the customer might be referred to the AVENU hotline. Travel service - Paysii has been linked to travel service that provides flight, hotel and other bundles booking for Paysii customers. The service is currently hosted at TaamTravel and is owned and managed by AfroAtlas (afroatlas.com). AfroAtlas will manage the complete booking follow (reservation and payments). AfroAtlas uses separate payment processor for customer bookings. I had a very serious and unacceptable experience with their service. I sent money through the PaySii app and entered the correct recipient information. However, their system sent my money to the wrong person. I have screenshots showing exactly what information I entered, and I provided those screenshots to PaySii as evidence that the mistake was not mine. Despite this proof, PaySii told me that the money had already left their system and that there was nothing they could do about it. Instead of taking responsibility for what appears to be a problem with their system, they initially tried to blame me for entering incorrect information—even though my screenshots clearly show that I entered the correct information. This is extremely concerning for a company that handles people’s money. If a customer enters the correct recipient information but the company’s system sends the funds to someone else, the customer should not be held responsible for that error. PaySii should investigate what happened, determine why their system sent my money to the wrong recipient, and make every reasonable effort to recover or reimburse the funds. Simply saying, “The money already left our system, so there is nothing we can do,” is not an acceptable response when the transaction was processed incorrectly. Customers need to know that when they send money, it will actually reach the person whose information they entered. If PaySii cannot guarantee that—or cannot properly investigate and correct a transaction when its own system makes an error—that raises serious concerns about the reliability of the service. I have kept screenshots and documentation of the transaction and my communications with PaySii. I am asking PaySii to take responsibility, properly investigate this transaction, and return the money that was sent to the wrong person through no fault of mine.
