The CEO was never able to prove consistency. Currently many users have been knocked out of the app while PhonePe is working just fine. Why should we use Paytm therefore?? ### 4/5 — Mostly functions as you’d expect *2026-05-31* The app is a lot more reliable now than it was when I first started using it, when some payments I would try to make through the app just wouldn’t go through. That issue seems to have been fixed and I haven’t faced it in a while. I think it has the best UI of any UPI app I’ve used. I’d just like to point out an apparent bug in the app, which is my only complaint with it right now. When you try to cancel a subscription, the app prompts you to give a reason as to why you wanna end your subscription, in a box labelled “others”. This box is buggy, in that, it doesn’t accept any punctuation. I hope the team fixes this issue. I also feel like, there is a dark pattern that the app runs you through when you try to cancel a subscription, which is infuriating, making it slightly more annoying and harder to cancel a subscription.
