You have to risk losing $21 minimum to even get a dollar back. Don’t waste your time with this EDIT: LOL weak spined developer cant handle a low ranked review so they have to say it’s fake (: ### 5/5 — Awesome product and seamless execution. *2025-04-14, version 1.4.1* The creators have taken considerable time to refine the Paywake product. Works quickly and efficiently, is easy to use, and transfers are simple. In the rare instances I’ve had any issues, support is quick to respond and happy to help. Couldn’t recommend more! ### 4/5 — Amazing team/management *2025-04-04, version 1.4.1* First of I want to say that this app will NOT make you rich but it is an amazing way to earn a little for doing something we all have to do which is wake up. Look at it like having a free coffee or your gas tank taken care of for just waking up. I’m giving this 4 stars because the pay has gone down since I started using this app and they only give you a 2 minute grace period from the time you schedule to wake up. 2 minutes flys by, all it takes is one bad morning and you get cleaned out/wiped. Besides that this app is amazing, just make sure your on top of it by setting 2 or 3 alarms just to make sure you don’t sleep in. The team is also amazing, they have resolved every issue that has come up. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to earn a little extra on the side, thank you Paywake for motivating all of us to wake up!!!! ### 2/5 — Works to an extent *2025-03-04, version 1.4.1* Yes you do earn money by taking daily pictures (keyboard, light switch, door handle, sink, toilet paper, toothbrush, etc) however you HAVE TO invest some of your money to earn even more. For example each day you do it you earn a streak the max percentage is 25%. The amount you already gained + 25% bonus. However this doesn’t always work out as sometimes it doesn’t load or it can log you out of the app. A few issues I have is when it chooses to not load AT ALL, no matter WHAT kind of internet you use, it will not load (even after refreshing). You can have a certain limit on what you can take a picture of. Apart from the ones I stated above previously, you can rotate out of the 3 you want to do. Ex: at 8am every day you can choose either a keyboard, door handle, or sink to take a picture and boom you’ll get your bonus. However this doesn’t always register as i remember taking a picture of a light switch at a hospital but for some reason it didn’t want to register or recognize that it was indeed a light switch. I want to assume they don’t have all of the information in their database to recognize all kinds of items/things so you do have to time it with things that you do have at home and could do it without the human verification. Is it worth it? To an extent you won’t earn a lot but within a month or so you can earn enough money for a small meal or drink (depending on how much you invest). Be careful when reporting an issue with the app though because too many reports can get you banned even if it wasn’t entirely your fault. ### 4/5 — Great customer service *2025-01-15* Their customer service person is very polite and helpful. I don’t like the design or functionality of the app. There’s no longer a way of knowing how much I’ll earn for my successful wake-up until after it’s completed. Also if you miss a wake-up, you won’t actually get the “2x” bonus as advertised. The app ‘conveniently’ won’t even function well enough for you to schedule the next wake-up in time to receive the bonus. I have a streak of 2 months, and I don’t still haven’t received any advertised bonuses, either. ### 5/5 — legit *2025-01-09, version 1.4* legit legit ### 5/5 — Great App Works as Expected and Excellent customer service *2024-12-24, version 1.4* I have been using this app for over a year and it has always worked great. As long as you wake up in time and complete the photo verification you get paid. Just remember to set an alarm a couple of minutes before. Also when scheduling the time make sure you confirm and if you make a change confirm the time is set correctly. After over a year of the app working flawlessly I encounter a problem where the app froze and I could not take a picture. I lost the money 💰 in the app. However I later contacted support and immediately the funds were restored back into my account. Jack from customer service was prompt in his response and did a great job 👏 adding the money back! I highly recommend this app! As long as you understand the risk of losing the money if you do not wake up in time, it is a great way to earn extra income for waking up. ### 5/5 — Probably the best app I’ve used *2024-12-21, version 1.4* By far one of my top apps I’ve used. Overall excellent app, I hope they add more features! ### 3/5 — Okay for making some change *2024-12-01* This is exactly what it says, you wake up at a scheduled time everyday and they pay you out. The downside? 1. You must put down some money to earn it, if you missed a day you’ll lose it all and have to repay the amount you had originally. 2. They have two different types of “amount balances” for you to be aware of. One shows how much you have in your acc and use it for that week/day. The next balance shows what’s AVAILABLE to cash out or use for scheduled days. However this never shows accuracy due to me slowing wanting to withdrawal my original amount I had used ($20) and reuse the amount I earned (a loophole right?). Well that’s not the case it goes BACK to the creators or anywhere else but in your account. 3. After having a streak of over 270+ days in a row they do add a streak bonus but that’s practically nothing once you reach 25%. (2-10 extra depending on the time you choose to wake up) If they could really fix this and maybe add more bonuses or free offers to earn more it would be MORE rewarding but at this point in time I feel stuck to keep this going since I can’t withdrawal a majority of my funds back. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Wish I could enjoy *2026-03-10, version 1.7.1* Says that there’s an account with my number already and I’ve never used the app. Tried my second number and it said the same thing. ### 1/5 — Fake worthless app *2026-02-04, version 1.7.1* Wish I could give it 0 stars. Never used this app before. I was one of them. It was frustrating for sure, but in the end I got my money fully refunded, and all the people I interacted with were friendly and helpful. It’s a really cool concept and I’ve made $200 just by waking up on time. I think that’s pretty great. If you wager $99 you can make anywhere from $0.30 to $3 in my experience. Usually you’ll make right around $1. By the time I opened up my other phone to see if it worked on it they took all my money! I have made over $1000 in the 3 yrs I’ve used them but this was unacceptable! I contacted them and they were glad to refund since it was their app. Hopefully it will never happen again to me, or anyone else. I love the app. Make sure to check your time daily to make sure it stays as you put it. I always have mine open a half hour before wake up time. ### 5/5 — Surprisingly Legit *2025-04-16, version 1.4.1* I’ve been using Paywake for a couple of years now, even before it became an app, and it’s one of the most reliable money making apps I use. You do have to bet money that you’re gonna wake up on time, but as long as you set an alarm and be consistent, you’re gonna be fine. In the rare instances when the app has malfunctioned and I’ve been unable to check in, customer service has been very quick to help me get my money back.
