Purpose of Data Collection application is to allow behavior analysts, RBTs, and assistants working with PBS to collect data on client behavior. This helps with further analysis of trends of behavior change. This application does not collect sensitive information about the user, nor the client. Old app used to have it. Makes taking notes take much longer and it sometimes doesn’t save. ### 3/5 — ipad inclusive *2025-06-26* i agree with the note feature and it deleting if you make any sudden movements. no pattern just random. To add, i wish they were an ipad version to allow the data collection app to be on a bigger screen so i dont have to use my phone during session. while i can download the app on my ipad, the screen is the same size as it is on my phone on my 11inch ipad. same with pbs live. would love to see this integration! overall great app and easy to use! ### 3/5 — Good at times, infuriating at others *2025-06-05* It definitely gets the job done, but the MAIN issue I have is the fact that when I write out my notes and still have the keyboard up, and if ANYTHING happens, like an alarm going off, or switching the application without going off of the keyboard (which saves the notes), it completely deletes EVERYTHING I wrote till the last point it saved. Which at times is my entire writings, since I write my notes at the end of my sessions. If there is any pop up it will delete my notes, if I have 20% battery, notes gone, if I try to copy and paste something and my phone asks for me to allow it to paste, notes are gone, a timer goes off (which I use often with the kiddos), notes are gone, my alarm goes off to indicate that I’m at the end of my session, notes are gone. Just fix that and it will be so much better. And to fix that either make the notes autosave with in a time interval or after a few words are typed out, having it save once you go off of the keyboard is not the way to do it. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2024-08-01* A great concept and certainly a step up from paper data collection, but is set up rather clunky and is especially hard to be efficient with the more data points you have active at a time. Needs some way to compact/better organize targets for quick and easy access. Also crashes frequently, often not allowing you to scroll all the way to the targets farther down the list without the app just. Closing out. As of now it is often impossible to input data for targets farther down the list because the app crashes before you can scroll down to it. ### 5/5 — Phenomenal *2023-06-07* Makes data collection easy & at your finger tips. Doesn’t drain your phone battery. Could save me a lot of time inputting data if I could use the app. Hopefully they fix it. ### 2/5 — Still Needs Work *2021-07-01* I just obtained a client and his information shows up on my SharePoint, but isn’t showing up in the Data Collection App. I tried clicking the “Share Feedback” or “Report a Bug” buttons, but they do not work at all. I was really looking forward to this app… I guess not so much now that I have it. ### 3/5 — Acquisition list way too long *2021-06-18* This app is very helpful and saves time with graphing!! My biggest issue is that every target/program I’ve ever used with a client shows up in the acquisition list including those that he’s mastered/met. Because of this, I have to scroll through like 40 different options when I want to add data during session and it takes way too long. There needs to be a way to take targets off this list in the app. Like if I label a target/program as “met” in the sharepoint data collection list, it should disappear from the acquisition list in the app. Otherwise I am glued to my phone for too long during session trying to scroll through this list to find what I’m looking for at that moment. Additionally, if you go to settings and try to click “make a suggestion” or “report a bug” those don’t do anything. You can click it 100 times and it won’t go anywhere. I think if this big issue was fixed the app would be amazing!! Im looking forward to using it more.
