Whether you are a student building your first Arduino board or a professional engineer reviewing a layout on the go, PCBStudio gives you the tools to design, route, check, and export real printed circuit boards — entirely on iPhone or iPad.

• Reference Library — Browse 25+ built-in components with full schematic symbols, footprint options, pin-level detail, and typical usage guidance. Covers resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs, NPN/PNP transistors, LEDs, ATmega328P, RP2040, ESP32-S3, STM32F103, op-amps, shift registers, USB-C, LDOs, and buck converters.

• Template Generator — Choose from 6 professional circuit templates: USB power supply, 3.3V LDO regulator, ATmega328P minimal design, RP2040 minimal design, H-bridge motor driver, and I2C sensor interface. Configure key parameters and generate a complete board layout in seconds.

• AI Design Assistant — Describe the circuit you need in plain English. Claude (Anthropic), GPT-4o (OpenAI), or Gemini (Google) generates a complete PCB design including component selection, net connections, BOM, placement, and design notes. Bring the result straight into the CAD editor with one tap.

• Full CAD Editor — A complete multi-layer PCB editor with component placement on F.Cu and B.Cu, trace routing, via insertion, and a Lee wave-propagation autorouter with A* heuristic, diagonal routing support, and automatic via insertion for layer transitions. Design Rule Check (DRC) catches trace width violations, clearance errors, short circuits, via size problems, overlapping components, and board boundary violations before you export.
