### 4/5 — Glitchy

*2026-08-06*

The whole point is to log food but it won’t let me put my keyboard away so I can’t click the “done logging” or whatever the button says - I don’t know because I can’t see it

Edit- I was able to log using the ai and it also sent in a bug report for me. I’m good with the ai as a work around

### 2/5 — Payment plan

*2026-06-26*

The app seems amazing but the payment plan is very confusing and somewhat coming off a scammy, when I first unload the app, it does offer a free trial but it also below that offers a 6.99 I took that offer, but then looked at my Apple Store and it showed that it would’ve taken the 70 something dollars as a whole and there was no 6.99 payment plan. Don’t know if it’s the Apple Store or the app itself, but I do not want to take the risk. When I do go to see payment plans connected to the app. It only shows 20 something dollars per month. So what happened to the 6.99 per month payment plan?

### 2/5 — Feeling exploited.

*2026-04-26*

Asks me for a review before I even get to use the app, and then immediately requires you to pay a fee to use the app. What a let down.

### 2/5 — Not able to use without a subscription

*2026-04-12*

Would be nice if you could use a free version of this app but that’s not offered

### 3/5 — Too simple for the price

*2026-03-16*

I like this cute app. I think it’s useful for some tracking. However, I don’t think that it’s worth $20 per month. The yearly subscription is five dollars per month which is fine but if you wanna give this a try, there is a three days free trial. The pictures scanner does an OK job however, I would rather use a scale and calculate the macros on my own.

### 3/5 — pcos polly

*2026-03-11*

I really like this app and it helped me manage my PCOS really well for the couple of days I was able to use it. However, it is really unfortunate that I am unable to use the app at all without paying for it, after the free trial. It helped me a lot and it has the potential to help so many people, but unfortunately i, and many other people do not have the funds to pay 60$ or more to use the app.

### 1/5 — Paywalled + not fully inclusive

*2026-01-19*

I don’t feel particularly welcomed by a woman owned health/fitness app when the ‘enter your weight’ section has a limit on it.

### 4/5 — More Details

*2026-01-07*

As a gym girl with trying to aim for specific objectives I would love to app more options in customising what are my targets in Today’s Summary. For example since I am doing défice cal and gym I would like to customise it a bit more so I could track this things

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-01-05*

I really feel like this app should be completely free! So many women struggle with pcos and need tips! This app definitely got my hopes up. Very disappointed

### 1/5 — Payment

*2026-01-02*

You have to pay to use this app. I genuinely thought that I could get help from not only my doctor but maybe from this to actually help me but I don’t have the kind of money to pay subscription let alone to afford any trainers specifically for pcos or how to help it. I’ve tried doing research and nothing helps. I thought this app could help me and it doesn’t because I need to pay something I simply cannot afford. I’m sure it’s a great app but some people simply want a free app to help them get by without worrying about their money situation.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-04*

Don’t understand why you have to pay $60 to use an app that was made for women to help them with their PCOS. This is extremely angry seeing how we already don’t have really a way to manage it but when we find a way we have to pay for it.

### 1/5 — Refused my Refund

*2026-07-29*

I downloaded this app to help with my recent PMOS diagnosis. As many other reviews have stated, you cannot trial the app without paying for it. This is where I should have just left it but I wanted to give it a shot. This app is not what I was expecting, and in attempting to get a refund for the yearly membership I did NOT want they denied it. I’m currently appealing, but beyond frustrated. Just another app profiting off of women’s health.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-07-03*

Another app exploiting women’s health issues for money. You can’t even preview the app without paying for it. Very disappointing for many women who aren’t able to afford a subscription right now.

### 1/5 — Highly inaccurate and missing features

*2026-06-14*

The app collects a large amount of data (weight, exercise, steps, habits), but it doesn’t appear to use that information in any meaningful way to personalize recommendations. For a premium-priced subscription, I expected much more functionality and integration between features. Additionally, the exercise logging is extremely innacurate for certain exercises, while no app can calculate burned calories perfectly, the estimates provided here are often far from realistic. For the sake of a fair review - the food logging is helpful as it’s specific to PCOS needs. I’ve never left a review for an app before but a lot is missing here and the app is clearly still in its early stages, can you really be charging us such a premium price for this?

### 1/5 — Expensive

*2026-06-01*

Far too expensive!! How are we supposed to pay as well as suffer physically! I am a student and don’t earn anything so cannot pay yet I am in pain

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-05-26*

They changed me after I said 3 day free trial

### 1/5 — Price

*2026-05-24*

Why are all pcos apps so expensive? Why do pcos sufferers always have so many things to buy and subscribe to and just spend spend spend. This world is cruel. Companies like this would provide so much help if they weren’t so greedy for money. I can’t even download an app to help me, the doctors won’t help me, vitamins are so expensive for pcos too. Capitalising off of woman’s health struggles that have been completely over looked by doctors is scummy. I’m so sick of it

### 1/5 — Weight limit on app is a first for me

*2026-05-14*

It asks what’s your current weight. My current weight is 362 pounds. Kept saying to add a valid weight? Lol right under gave an example and limit of 78 pounds to 349.5. Which does not work for me since it can not give me accurate information based on that weight limit. If this was a free app I would be willing to over look that weirdness. But paying either $60 for a yearly subscription or $20 a month. Can not justify it.

### 1/5 — Absolutely disappointing

*2026-03-21*

I was so excited to finally find an app that would help me with one of my biggest struggles in life, only to be met with a subscription that you can’t move past without paying.

No one should have to spend money or pay to feel heard, understood or even learn more about their health.

### 1/5 — Don’t even bother

*2026-02-24*

Don’t download this app unless you want to pay $60 a year. Nothing in any of the advertising said anything about being a paid service. The app has you put in all of your information before telling you to pay. The free trial will automatically charge you. Everything the app offers can be found for free elsewhere. Just another person trying to capitalize off of women struggling with pcos.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-18*

This is the only time I have ever left a review for an app. This app is great. It’s so user friendly and it’s the only way I’ve ever tracked macros consistently. The recipes are great and it has helped me manage my PCOS so much. I highly recommend it

### 5/5 — App review!!

*2026-07-07*

Underneath the Today’s Habits there is:
Today’s workouts:

In the top right corner of the section there is a little button that says log workouts with a little plus sign, click it and you’ll get a little pop up section that says:
Log Workout:
Activity: (and press choose activity and there will be a ton of different ones, that way you don’t to struggle to remember what the exercise you might’ve just done is called hahaha)
Under activity there is:
When (which is just where you put in when (date, time) you did the activity)
Under that is:
Duration: (how long you did that specific activity for)

And then there is a little section under Duration called:
Notes (you can add stuff like (and this is exactly what it says btw): specific exercises, pace, distance, how it felt, calories burned, etc,) I’m not sure if it gives you any advice once you log it as I haven’t done that yet, so you’ll have to find that out yourself, but it does show how la y colorines you burned and stuff)

It also gives you an option to get a guided workout, click that button that says "guided workout” and it’ll take you to a little section that asks:

How much time do you have today?
And you can say: 15, 20, or 30 min

And then it’ll ask:
What equipment do you have today?
And it’ll have options to click:
No equipment; dumbbells; or gym access

And then at the bottom there will be a button that says:
Create workout! Click it and it’ll create a workout for you and it will give you exercises and there will be a button that says: begin guided workout at the bottom

(Also, it says that rest period area included between exercises so don’t worry about figuring that out on your own!)

Underneath "Today’s Workouts” is:
Weight Progress:
There will be a pink button that says: log workout, click it and it’ll take you to a little section that allows you to put in (I’m assuming that days) weight.

That’s the home page!!

The recipes page is next to it but I went over some stuff in it but I’ll just add this:
You can search up stuff that is dairy free too I think.

(This is the 2nd part of my review!)

### 5/5 — PCOS Polly has been life changing

*2026-06-12*

PCOS Polly is a game changer! It’s helped me so much in managing my goals. I love the recommendations it gives when inputting meals. There is so much conflicting information on the internet in regards to what to eat/what not to eat, the chat with Polly has made grocery shopping easy!

### 5/5 — Would be nice to try b4 paying

*2026-05-05*

I know there is a 3 day trial but if we could at least access the app without paying just to see the layout and all!

### 5/5 — Super user friendly!

*2026-05-05*

I just downloaded the app and i’m LOVING it so far! the features are so easy to use and customize and i love the chat option to ask quick questions!

### 5/5 — Culturally sensitive and Useful!!

*2026-04-27*

I love how it can scan your food and tells you nutritional quality and how to improve your plate. I love that it can identify Indian food and make culturally relevant change recommendation. I don’t feel like I have to abandon my cultural foods to be “healthy”

### 5/5 — Very helpful and beneficial

*2026-04-03*

This app has helped me so much with my PCOS! It’s the only app I’ve came across that helps me track what I’m eating along with whatever is in the food. I know I generally don’t eat healthy, but seeing the numbers of what I’m consuming or what I could make what I’m eating better has made me a lot more mindful of what I eat. The app also has features to log your period, mood, symptoms, etc… which can be helpful to some.

### 5/5 — love the app

*2026-01-28*

I just downloaded it and it’s making a difference already

### 5/5 — App feedback

*2025-12-27*

Absolutely loving the app. The recipe options are amazing, logging your food is easy to navigate and the chat function is so useful for information regarding PCOS

### 5/5 — Life-Changing App for PCOS!

*2025-11-14*

I absolutely love PCOS Polly! This app has helped me understand my symptoms, track my progress, and actually feel in control of my PCOS instead of overwhelmed by it. The layout is clean, the information is empowering, and it’s honestly the best tool I’ve found for managing my health.

I also reached out to customer service with a question, and they were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. It’s rare to find support that feels so genuine, major bonus. Highly recommend this app to anyone dealing with PCOS!
