I found Soares boards review course, and the reference manual / handbook much more helpful for preparing for the exam. Additionally, I emailed the manufacturer of the app several times requesting a paper receipt for my 3 month subscription and I have yet to receive a response. Overall very unhelpful customer service for an unhelpful app. ### 2/5 — Not a good tool for QE *2025-05-05* This app needs to be updated to reflect current guidelines and recommendations from the reference manual. Many questions were keyed incorrectly and only made me more confused. Additionally, the user interface is not great and is glitchy. It is difficult to review questions you marked and to see how you’re scoring in different subjects. I used it for a few months then abandoned it. Many of the questions were WAY too difficult, or too detailed, making you miss the point entirely. I took the QE today and I regret purchasing this. ### 2/5 — Review *2024-05-03* The app was helpful to go through questions , but their were alot of irreverent pedo questions, like patients aged between 30-50. Most questions were WAY too easy and answers options were so irrelevant and not at a specialist level, a second year dental student should be able to answer that. You guys should really figure out a way to make it compatible on IPAD or laptop. It’s annoying to stare at my phone all day. ### 1/5 — Bot reviews bolster fake rating *2024-03-24, version 2.52* This app uses bot reviews. ### 1/5 — Very poor customer service *2023-12-10* I was bombarded with the Black Friday promotion; they always offer semi-annual or monthly promotions and do not talk about annual. When I asked for the annual, they said we had added 10%, and when I requested the subscription, they never replied. I just received another promotion email, and I asked for a yearly subscription without any promotions, but still no reply. I don't know if they have enough manpower or are just too lazy to assist (I apologize for such language). I need the subscription but since I am disappointed with the service am not going to subscribe to it. ### 1/5 — Poor resource for oral boards *2023-06-21* This is a terrible resource for the oral boards. They do not include radiographs or photos in the practice cases and they do not include thorough explanations, some information is simply copy and pasted from other resources. No bug and no Problem at all ### 5/5 — Phil B *2023-03-23* I recently used the Pediatric Dental Boards app to prepare for boards, and I have to say, it was an outstanding tool for studying. The app is incredibly user-friendly and provided me with a wealth of valuable information that helped me to feel well-prepared for the exam. One of the things I appreciated most about the app was its organization. The content was broken down into clear, concise categories, which made it easy to focus on specific areas of study. The app also had a comprehensive review of all of the key concepts and topics that are typically covered on the pediatric dental board exams. The information was presented in an engaging and interactive way, which made it easier to remember and understand. Overall, I found the Pediatric Dental Boards app to be an incredibly useful and effective tool for studying. I would highly recommend it to anvone who is preparing for their dental board exams ### 2/5 — App still needs work as of 3.22.23 *2023-03-22, version 2.0.9* UPDATE to previous review: they have now included a feature to pick up where you left off but it still is not useful. In order to save your progress you need to press the "back" button. This "back button" will randomly disappear during your session and you can no longer save your progress. The best way to use this app is still make sure your battery is more than 20% because the low battery notification will reset your progress, do not leave app, do not turn off phone, do not check notifications, do not answer calls - all of these will reset your progress to a random point. If you start seeing repeat questions in the same section this means your progress has reset. You MUST finish all questions of a section in one sitting in order to see every question and get the full potential of this app. You will need 1-3 hours per section, depending on how fast you read and depending on the number of questions in that section. The questions are great, the app mechanics are terrible. For example, when you start a section of 200 questions and have gotten through let's say 15 of them, then you press your home button or move away from the app for a few seconds and come back, it will show your completed 15 questions as a different 15 questions than what you answered before. Essentially you will miss questions or get repeats if you do not complete all 200 questions at once without the app crashing or leaving the app. This bug is so frustrating and doesn't seem like the developer had addressed it in the last year. Emails are diverted with "our developer is working on." When the cost of this app you would expect this basic of an issue to be resolved.
