## What is PDF Compressor?

PDF Compressor is a practical PDF compression and document toolkit for iPhone and iPad.

Reduce PDF file size for email, uploads, forms, school documents, receipts, contracts, and scanned pages. Compress one PDF, batch compress up to 50 PDFs, scan paper documents to PDF, edit pages, sign, watermark, merge, convert JPG and JPEG images into PDF, and export PDF pages as JPEG images.

Choose the output style that fits your task. Use a smaller setting when you need the lightest file, a balanced setting for everyday sharing, or a sharper setting when page readability matters most.

Compression may render pages into image-backed PDF pages. This can make scanned or image-heavy documents much smaller, but may remove selectable text, annotations, forms, links, metadata, and layers. Always check exported files before deleting originals.

Scanned PDFs are image-backed documents created from camera captures. Page editing exports a new PDF copy with reordered, rotated, or removed pages; it does not edit existing text in the original PDF. Watermarks and signatures are visual marks added to a new PDF copy on your device. They are not certificate-based digital signatures.
