Good text to speech generators will pause briefly for new lines and to handle punctuation properly. It limits you to only three pdf uploads before making you pay. Also, there are ads embedded within the interface—I clicked on one that looked like a green start button my first time using the app, and it stole my personal information and I began getting fraudulent purchases on my personal card. I don’t understand. Will no longer be using this app. I’m very disappointed. All the voice reader apps have been getting rid of Nicky’s voice when it’s the only decent free one. Did I mention it was bomb? *2026-07-14, version 1.0.6* I love this app! I use it a lot, especially being a student assigned books that I can’t comprehend the first time. You can adjust the speed of which it reads it out, the pitch (which is kinda pointless, but I actually love it. Actually nevermind, I think it’s to make it clearer omg. Smart). Whenever I read, I like to listen over my voice, since I used to record myself reading, to make sure I get every note. Now I don’t have to listen to my puberty crack and listen to this. Fricking bomb. I also use it to read out audio books to me, which it does wonderfully. Did what it said on the box and executed it well (minding the mispronunciations and voices, but it’s good for a tts app).
