## What is PDF Encryptor?

PDFs are easy to share, and now, even easier to protect!
Email, the Internet, and shared folders make electronic information easy to share — and hard to protect. But PDF Encryptor enables you to secure your PDF files. so that you can reduce the risk of distributing confidential and sensitive information, such as financial or legal documents, personal resume etc.

PDF’s standard security handler allows access permissions and up to two passwords to be specified for a document: an owner password and a user password. An application’s decision to encrypt a document is based on whether the user creating the document specifies any passwords or access restrictions. If so, the document is encrypted, and the permissions and information required to validate the passwords are stored in the encryption dictionary.

I've used this app for 5-7 years.  It is simple to use and works well.  I use it several times a week and have never had A single problem. A couple more features would be nice, but simplicity is it's strong point.  My clients never have difficulty opening their documents.  Thank you!

I was looking for something to password protect PDF files from the iOS file store. This is not what I was looking for. You cannot use iOS files, and it appears to rely on a weird server connection to a computer. 

Very strange interface. No where near worth $7, do not use.

I'm really furious at the developers for advertising an app that encrypts PDF documents but doesn't. Once you get to the screen to encrypt, you have to select "open". Every single time I select open, the app crashes. I paid 7 dollars for this app. I need an app that can encrypt pdf's. But this one doesn't get the job done. Save your money and look elsewhere. I am. I can't afford adobe's programs but there has to be an app that encrypts our documents other than this piece of garbage. I really hate the false advertising. Hate it!!
Don't buy this app. It will only be a waste of money. Trust me. It's not intuitive-always a bad sign- it's not laid out well. Forget it. Find something else.

Works fine on my iPhone 4S but crashes whenever I try to use it to set a password for a PDF on my iPad Air. Feiphone have excellent customer service and tried to fix the problem but had no success. As I wanted to use it on my iPad it’s been a waste of money.
