What’s the point of having the Pro version of ANY pdf app if you can’t even convert a file to pdf without paying MORE money for credits just to perform a single task! I searched the settings where one usually finds a 'restore purchase' link to restore the added features that were suppose to already be paid for with the upgrade to Pro. NOTHING there either! No matter what circus tricks it claims to perform, it will have its hand in your pocket for more cash every time you use it. So, beware, this app is a rip off! UPDATE: 12-6-25. Rating is now 2-stars. And that’s being very generous. Used to be 3-stars. I didn’t realize I had paid for Pro already. The new upgrade is supposedly "lifetime". Problems right away. The app reverts to the default EVERY TIME I add a new file! I HATE vertical scroll! So every time I work with a file, I have to change the setting to horizontal scroll. The tools take up 1/3 of the total screen space! Or at full size, they disappear completely, except for a text dropdown menu with a few choices, which are never what I want. All in all, the UI makes very poor use of its screen space. So, heavy users beware. All the features in the world mean very little if it’s a slog to use them. So much time is wasted tapping/clicking your brains out that you’re exhausted when you finally finish a task. Excellent PDF conversion options to keep me efficient in my PDF needs. There are some issues that are being worked on by the Devs, I’ve had excellent and prompt multiple replies on my issues. 1. I paid for the lower plan a long time ago now, I recently paid the one time $12.xx Pro plan for life. It may seem pricey, but I tell you, there are many capabilities in this one app that after using several others and those with subscriptions etc, this is a great investment. Please know that Apple delayed my processing of my payment, such that I thought something was wrong. That’s where I informed the team. They quickly replied. After reading their suggestions, it occurred to me to check my purchases. It said PENDING! I assumed that it may take a day or two for Apple to process. That became true. As soon as it accepted payment, I got the full features of Pro. 2. A major confusion is that when you pay for pro, they use another downloaded app for that level, but, it has the same icon, so it took me lots of frustrating steps and review to realize that two apps exist with identical icons. One needs to delete the “old” lower plan app. It will continue to show that you can pay for a Pro feature. And keep the newer one. The Dev are now evaluating what to do, given my explanation of confusion etc. If they make one app become the one and only app as one pays hope different plans, then I would rate it 5 stars. Aug. 2025 California ### 2/5 — Awful Scanner *2025-05-02, version 12.3* UPDATED: Image captured (already existed in Photo library or in Files) in non aligned (i.e. 45 degree) angle is not possible to strengthen while using “Image to PDF” tool. Also available image Filters in this tool (“Image to PDF”) are not usable as document scanner. This APP’s document scanner is working fine, but like Apple built in free scanner, it cannot process images already existed in Photo library or in Files. ### 4/5 — Error en mover objetos pequeños *2025-04-22, version 12.2.1* Muy buena app, la verdad completa por el precio que esta, mejoraría lo de mover objetos pequeños como etiquetas ya que da error y es imposible manejar o ponerlos donde uno quiere por que el objeto se vuelve loco. ### 2/5 — Awful Scanner *2025-04-20* Image captured in non aligned (i.e. 45 degree) angle is not possible to strengthen while converting image to pdf. Our latest update adds an improved “Auto-Align” step: after capturing, you can drag the corner handles (or tap **Auto** in the toolbar) to straighten a page that was photographed at an angle. If you’ve already updated and still see problems, please send us a sample image or short screen recording at support@livebirdtechnologies.com—real examples help us fine-tune the detection algorithm. We’re also redesigning the image-to-PDF filters to deliver cleaner, high-contrast scans in the next release. PDFs can be tricky—some files group entire paragraphs or contain scanned pages without a real text layer, which makes cursor placement feel imprecise or selects a whole block. A few things to try: 1. If the PDF is a scan/image, run Recognize Text (OCR) first, then try Edit PDF Text again. 2. Zoom in and long-press where you want the caret; if the app still selects the whole block, use Add Text (annotation) for small inserts, or Convert to Word (High Quality), edit there, then export back to PDF for heavy changes. 3. Update to the latest version—we’re actively improving per-line editing, cursor placement, and layout handling to make this smoother. This is utter slow and never responds in My ipad and you cannot restore the purchase when you try to open in iPhone with same apple ID. Try opening the app with no other apps running (force-quit others) and test with a single PDF to isolate whether a specific file triggers the slowdown. Restore Purchase on iPhone (same Apple ID) • If you’re using the Lite app (free download with in-app upgrade): open the Lite app on the iPhone and tap Settings > Restore Purchase. Wait a few seconds for Apple’s servers to validate the receipt. - If you bought the paid Pro app (separate listing): install that same Pro app on the iPhone using the same Apple ID; Pro is included and no restore is required. - If you see “Pending” in App Store purchases, Pro unlocks automatically once Apple completes the charge; then use Settings > Restore Purchase if needed. - Note: there’s no login in our app; purchases sync via your Apple ID only. We’ll get this straightened out for you. ### 1/5 — Деньги на ветер( А разработчик, полагаю намеренно занимается обманом *2025-09-02* Абсолютно бесполезная программа. 1000 рублей, а пользы ноль. Разработчиком предлагается PDF документ, в котором якобы можно поюзать функции программы. Воспользовался этим, испробовал все функции и приложения мне действительно понравилось. Текст редактируется, ненужное в документе можно удалить, что-то добавить допечатать, можно было редактировать картинки. Купил Pro . Оказалось что все перечисленные мною возможности возможно только в документе который был мне предложен разработчиками. Все же другие документы это бесполезное приложение распознает только лишь как картинку а не текст и всё что можно в документе делать это лишь подчёркивать, выделять и рисовать что-то поверх текста. Ровным счётом все его возможности ровно те же что и в любой бесплатной PDF читалки. Очень жаль. Не рекомендую. **Developer response:** Ответ на русском Здравствуйте, Arik212, Сожалеем о вашем опыте. Скорее всего, вы столкнулись с различием между текстовым PDF (как наш пример) и PDF-сканом, где страницы представляют собой картинки. В таких файлах нет текстового слоя, поэтому выделение и редактирование текста невозможно, пока не выполнить распознавание (OCR). Что можно сделать: Если файл — скан/фото, запустите Распознавание текста (OCR). После завершения текст станет выделяемым и доступным для поиска. Чтобы менять сам текст, используйте функцию Редактировать текст PDF (входит в одноразовое обновление Pro Plus, добавленное после 7 января 2025 г.) или конвертируйте PDF в Word, внесите правки и сохраните обратно в PDF. В Pro доступны аннотации: добавление текстовых блоков и заметок, выделение, подписи, фигуры и т. п. Мы не стремимся вводить в заблуждение. Merci d’essayer : 1. Mettre l’application à jour depuis l’App Store puis redémarrer l’iPhone. 2. Enregistrer un PDF dans Fichiers, puis l’importer depuis PDF Export pour écarter un souci de partage. 3. Vérifier que le fichier est entièrement téléchargé s’il est dans iCloud ou un autre cloud (touchez l’icône nuage avant d’ouvrir). 4. Contrôler si le PDF est protégé par mot de passe ou corrompu en l’ouvrant dans un autre lecteur; saisissez le mot de passe si demandé. 5. Libérer de l’espace (au moins 500 Mo) et réessayer. 6. Tester avec un autre PDF (pièce jointe mail, téléchargement navigateur, cloud) pour voir si le souci vient d’un fichier précis. Si le problème persiste, envoyez un ou deux PDF d’exemple, une courte vidéo de l’erreur, le modèle de l’appareil et la version d’iOS à support@livebirdtechnologies.com.
