PDF Merge X makes it ridiculously fast. I can even add empty pages where I need to write notes. 5 stars for saving my GPA (and sanity). ### 3/5 — Used to be better *2023-12-01* I’ve used this app for a couple years. After last update, I can’t view 2 pages side by side any more, which is the main reason I bought this app. Disappointed in the change. Thanks! ### 2/5 — DOES NOT WORK! *2022-01-28* Not sure if it’s just me, but I even paid the one time fee to upgrade to Pro and cannot merge any files! I select my files and click Merge, but it just gets stuck on the “Saving, this may take a while” screen FOREVER! I haven’t been able to merge a single PDF, what’s going on?? Thanks for using the app. ### 2/5 — Not great for iPads *2021-02-14, version 2020.7* Does as you want mostly but no option for it to work in landscape mode, when most apps these days do and using a keyboard very poor and very awkward to have to keep flipping from landscape to then work in this app to portrait. How hard can it be to make the app landscape compatible. I have even spent a further 10.00 on top of paying for this one to a competitor just so I can have the app work without such back and forth. ### 4/5 — Fast perfekt *2021-01-29, version 2020.7* Sehr gut umgesetzt, hilfreich und die Handhabung ist schnell erlernt. Die App unterstützt auch deutsch, benötigt „nur“ 36,5 MB (für App, Dokumente, Daten), ein Export via „Teilen“ in „Dokumente“ ist möglich, und die PDF kann dort mit „Bücher“ weiter genutzt werden. Leider ist ein Verschieben mehrerer markierter Seiten (gleichzeitig als Block) nicht möglich. The little icons at the bottom are not intuitive and it took me several minutes of guessing to figure out what they do. Then it stuck a watermark on my pdf and wanted me to pay for the pro version to remove the watermarks. If you want me to pay for your product, you need to make it easier to use. ### 2/5 — No iPad UI *2019-10-07, version 3.4.1* A productivity tool with no iPad UI equivalent? Really? ### 5/5 — Developer takes care of business! *2019-05-07* I felt the previous update had complicated the app with having to use different apps to merge from and to preview. I lowered my stars regarding the rating with a description. As promised, the developer streamlined the app with the latest update as he said he would in his email response to me. This app is once again the most convenient out there and it rocks! Way to go developer! 👍👊 **Developer response:** Hi There! If you want to move documents you can do this directly inside PDF Modify or with the Files app. With PDF Modify 3 you no longer have to import any PDFs to the app. You can open and edit them from anywhere (directly from PDF Modify, the Files app, or any other app which is able to share PDFs). For a preview of the document you can do a long press on the file thumbnail and then select "Preview" in the context menu. Or alternatively press "Select" and then choose the document. In an upcoming update I will add a dedicated Preview button in the edit view to make things easier. I selected the documents to combine, pressed the “done” button and then......nothing. You only get the choice of selecting or deleting the document or just backing up through the choices to the first screen. Anche se mi serviva modificare un solo file, e gratis si possono fare 2, l’ho acquistata subito dopo, sicuramente mi servirà in futuro. Se è possibile, aggiungete la possibilità di selezionare/deselezionare le pagine (da - a). Visto che da un file di 170pg mi servivano 30. Sarebbe stato molto comoda questa possibilità. Whenever I would start it up it asked me to put in for the full version since it was a free upgrade. I did so but nothing happened.
