This app was predominantly used with tax information to receive in a secure file and then re-deliver it to another source which quite often doesn’t accept password-protected material, as in a secure website or a secure email service (ie bank website) ASSESSMENT: I could not rate it five stars because I felt the interface was a little clunky and perhaps why we have those one star whiner posts. However once you figure out its a copy and paste interface along with knowing the password it has worked every time for me and is pretty darn simple. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work! *2017-06-21, version 2.3* Asks me for password in order to remove password! Essential for Apple Pencil owners *2021-04-11, version 2.3* The developer’s first language wasn’t English, but the guide is understandable. It needs updating, so there was a crash after switching apps, but it wasn’t a big deal. It doesn’t have native support for the files app, so you have to go to your PDF and “open in” then select the app. Then once you’ve removed the owner password, it gives you the output, with a few ways of saving but the easiest I found is to copy to clipboard then paste in the folder in the files app. $1.49 AUD well spent, since I’ve ran in to a number of owner protected PDF forms that I can’t fill in with the Apple Pencil, and currently the workarounds on google don’t seem to work, like printing to PDF. --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
