This app did what I anticipated. It’s not as user friendly as it could be, but I was able to figure it out (On iOS, I shared the scanned PDF with the app and that pulled it into its queue to password-protect it.). I don’t know the issue those other rater had with it, but it worked flawlessly for me. 

I was not looking for something that did everything to PDFs. I use Adobe’s free scanner to scan paper documents to PDF and need to send sensitive personal documents to my financial advisor.  Waiting to do it on my laptop slowed down the process. So I tried this app last night and it did exactly what it promised: It password-protected my newly scanned PDF for sending through Gmail and my advisor got it, entered the pre-arranged password and was able to work with the document.  

The convenience was worth the one-time nominal charge of $2.99.

Same issue as review before, except I was trying to add a password to a pdf document I had created on my I phone. If some PDF’s are not compatible why make an app that doesn’t actually work and then charge people for it?

Waste of money....rather frustrated

Can only be password protected locally. When tried to email it sent unsecured! A total waste of my money!!!

If you protect a PDF file it will be protected everywhere you send it, the file will be encrypted.
Are you sure you sent to your email the original PDF file? (you should send the password protected PDF, of course. To do that press the Modified tab).

I purchased this app with the intention of being able to remove passwords from a couple of PDFs. When I save the files in a new location I simply get blank pages. Have contacted the developer over a week ago but have had no response
