### 1/5 — Unreliable and only updates the subscription modeled application

I have this app on my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro and they are worlds apart as far as reliability goes. Everytime I go to use the iPad version it’s rarely ever possible due to it constantly reindexing all my files which takes hours each time just from adding one file or sometimes adding none. I will search words on the MacBook Pro and receive a wealth of results but then on the iPad Pro it will constantly say “no results found” despite them neing the same pool of documents I’ve turned on and off the explicit synchronization, I’ve indexed the fils on my MacBook then saved them to make sure they were scanned properly too no avail. This app was 50$ and it was not worth it for a one person who constantly uses it for research I feel slighted for the fact that the pdf search application with as subscription model has beenn updated 3 times this year while the one time purchaser hasn’t been updated att all the entire year/ It isn’t like this app is perfect why would it be left unupdaterd while the subscription is updated ? That isn’t fair and I dont think I should have to buy it twice to get updates.

Erst einmal bin ich begeistert, dass es mich nur Bruchteile von Sekunden kostet, Begriffe in PDFs zu finden. Hier sind meine Vorschläge zur Optimierung: - Das Antippen des Suchbegriff-Vorschlages in der Liste sollte direkt die Ergebnisliste aufrufen. Nochmal auf Suchen klicken ist lästig und in 99% der Fälle unnötig. Für den Fall, dass man Wortkombinationen mit den Vorschlägen zusammensetzen will, könnte dieser Direktsuchstart als Option in den Einstellungen schaltbar sein. - Daran anknüpfend ist der Wunsch Logikverknüpfungen der Suchbegriffe nutzen zu können (z.B. UND, ODER, NOT), vielleicht sogar Regular Expressions. - In dem importierten Indexpfad wäre es super, wenn man Unterverzeichnisse ausschließen kann. Das bereinigt die Suchergebnisse, so dass man schneller die passenden Dokumente findet. - In den angezeigten Dokumenten/PDFs wäre es schön, wenn oben rechts bei der aktuellen Seite die Gesamtseitenzahl dabeisteht (Seite 21/56). Für eine Umsetzung der Vorschläge wäre ich sehr dankbar. Die App auf deutsch ist ein kleiner nachgelagerter Wunsch. Da ich damit bereits Erfahrung habe, kann der Entwickler gern zu mir Kontakt herstellen.

Well worth the purchase. Been able to scan the text for textbook pdfs I own, makes finding the information so much easier to find while saving me the hassle of carrying the physical copies around. 

Highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Funktioniert super um Massen an PDFs zu durchsuchen

Funktioniert der Suchprozess echt schnell und meiner Ansicht nach auch zuverlässig. Man darf nicht vergessen dass bei der OCR Texterkennung von manchen Dokumenten nicht immer das hinterlegt ist was man als Benutzer sieht. Dh da kann im Wort ein Leerzeichen sein und schon gibt es Schwierigkeiten genau diesen Begriff zu finden.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Womit das Programm nicht gut zurecht kommt ist mit PDFs die in der iCloud liegen. Diese Dateien sind wenn man sie nutzt im Gerätespeicher, werden aber irgendwann vom Betriebssystem wieder gelöscht um Speicher zu sparen.
Ich nutze die App täglich für die Arbeit und bin sehr zufrieden!
