But since it’s hard to find a similar app on this platform that does what this app does, I rate it as 4. ### 4/5 — Please update for iOS 13 *2019-10-23, version 1.0.8* I would love to see this app updated for iOS 13, would be great to have this added to the new share sheet. My professor uploaded his notes in random orientation and you saved a student from a minimum of a $25 1 month subscription to get the functionality from adobe. UI looks like crap on iPhone plus but it does the job perfectly!! ### 5/5 — Best "Editor" of PDFs files out there! *2016-09-06, version 1.0.4* This app is exactly what is needed if you want to insert, delete, rearrange, update pages of your PDFs file. This is the only app I found that will allow me to actually insert a new page into a pdf file easily! Once you watch the helpful video the interface is super simple! I was able to do everything depicted in the video and it is really simple and fast. I spent a lot of money on other so called PDF editors that said they could easily edit files. Bull! Not one would allow the inserting of a page into a PDF file, all those other "editor" apps would actually do is mod existing pages with colors or highlights and add annotations, but no page insertions, This app does exactly that! I love it! ### 5/5 — Great app to organize PDF's *2016-09-04, version 1.0.4* App let you collect individual pages from multiple PDF files sort and organize them into a new PDF. Works well, but you must view the help video or the interface won't make sense. ### 5/5 — Great App *2016-03-23, version 1.0.4* This app does exactly what it says unlike a lot of other apps which advertise similar capabilities but don't deliver. This app does. The video is great, watch it before you decide to buy the app. Everything is explained in the video. I've been looking for an app like this since I've had an iPad. If you use PDF this is indispensable. You can manipulate pdf's in a variety of ways. It's a very cleverly designed app and very useful to the user. It has a lot of features that help you keep track of what you're doing; it has a basket feature that informs you how many documents you have collected and ready to use. It's almost like a clipboard/pasteboard feature. You can move pages, rearrange them, delete them, revert back to a state before you deleted them. This is an essential app. The user can accomplish a lot with pdf's with this app. Nice work. Good luck with all your future apps! I forgot to mention the developer is very friendly and answered a question I had the same day. ### 4/5 — Not intuitive but does what no other apps will *2016-02-09, version 1.0.4* For the fairly simple task I needed it to perform, this app was actually easy to use. Literally no other app will let you ROTATE a pdf and then SAVE and EXPORT the rotated version. This app does that. It connects with all my other apps (Dropbox, etc.) to import and export files. Exactly what I needed. I can now scan long legal-sized documents on my PC and then correct the orientation so I can work with them on my iPad apps. Thanks!!! ### 5/5 — Just right *2015-02-18, version 1.0.4* I use this to merge specific pages from multiple files and it works great for my needs. They export easily to Dropbox, and from there to iBooks (that last part has nothing to do with PDF Splicer). I have other apps that do this, but they do a million other things and that slows everything down. My suggestion to users (or folks who try the free version) is to WATCH THE VIDEO. The app is not complicated, but the 10 minutes or whatever watching the video will really pay off. One small problem is that this version of the app appears as “PDF Splicer” not “PDF Splicer 2”. When I first paid for and downloaded this (after trying the free version), I thought I had purchased the first version. ### 5/5 — Good app *2014-12-03, version 1.0.4* I upgraded to new app with iOS upgrade. Still works well. I use it weekly and it works well for letting me split PDF files that I receive as FAXES to remove cover sheets and separate the different components into files. Easy to use. New version obscures the long names my files have (the old version did not). Also, the pages are blurred until I click multiple times on the file name. I can easily export the files to other apps on my iPad. I have had no problems combining pages from different files into one file. If you need to split PDF files this is the app for you. This is the second time this has happened and once again, I can not access my files. ### 1/5 — Save your money doesn’t work *2019-11-21, version 1.0.8* Yep, another crap program you pay money for that doesn’t work or keep up With updates. Save your cash and buy something else to merge your PDFs. This one ain’t gonna work. I feel cheated for having spent money on it. The ios11 upgrade TOOK it away with NO CONSIDERATION given for it as a PURCHASED App Upgrade. Finally got over the NON RESPONSE from Developer and purchased this new version. Tried to Clipboard copy photos as previous version. NO. Used feature inside App. NO. Tried selecting one. NO. I see now where it is divided out into a seperate app with ADDITIONAL COST? So much for another perfectly good App... GONE... Must have REFUND! ### 1/5 — Difficult to navigate *2015-12-18, version 1.0.4* I was a user of the first version of PDF splicer that worked well. This new version is much different, hard to comprehend when saving, ,adding it to the now needed basket before being able to splice. Upgrade to this latest iOS supported version for another $5.00!!! So they make it so you can't "open in" in version1.... but you can select you PDF to "open in" Ver.1 while in Ver.2 and miraculously, Ver.1 still works. Nice trick! Renamed functions confusing.
