It’s amazing. ### 5/5 — Reasonably priced, Free trial, works well *2023-09-16* This app unusually offers a fully functional free trial, which works very well. No bells or whistles. It just summarises. To continue working it then requires a weekly or annual subscription. This is aimed (again unusually) at the individul rather than corporate user and is reasonably priced. A very useful tool. ### 1/5 — It bugs both app and website *2023-08-21* I think I paid for nothing, so kinda feel like dirt right now. I really wanted to see the difference between full length and medium length, but it bugs, and there is no difference. Sometimes the full length is 5 lines, and some other times its as long as medium. The website can't handle more than 1 summary, otherwise apparently othewise it just keeps charging. Or maybe its just my internet that sucks idk. Sometimes the website just crashes and you can't access it. Also, you'd think that after having paid you'd be able to see it when you login, but first logging in requires no password, and once you "do" well it says you're still using the free version. Bruhh, anyhow, probs the most embarrassing purchase of the year and god forgives me cause this should be considered a sin... ### 5/5 — This is a Good "1.0"! *2023-07-30* ChatGPT, Bard and other LLM AI tools are still fairly new. This App is a good 1.0 (or perhaps beta) version of what a great PDF Summarizer will be with a lot more refinement. - The basic functionality is good, with it working like it should, and generating summaries of PDFs. The "little" versus "full" summary option is a bit of a guess for the user, however, since sometimes a little summary can be pages long and a full summary be a paragraph (of an equal-size document). - If you ignore that quirk and just use it for what it helps you do: summarize a document so you can read it quicker than a speed reader on a Sunday afternoon, then this works perfectly. I have countless numbers of PDF books I really want to read, but I just don't have the time. It's ok for me to know their main thesis and read a 5 minute summary instead of using 5 hours of time to read a book.. it depends on the book of course, and I enjoy reading as a hobby, but many books are also "over-authored" and repetitive.. summarization tools let us get around that problem. - I'd recommend to the developer to lighten up a little on the subscription cost until the UI is a little bit cleaner, there's a bit more control over the functionality, etc and I think they'll have a HUGE audience for this app. In the meantime I'm paying the subscription because I want the functionality so I'm OK looking past the 'unfinished' look to the app itself and just basically using it as a PDF Summarizer. It works great - just needs a lot more polishing, and I can't wait to see what happens to it in future iterations. If you need a PDF summarizer for large documents, right now, this is the best choice. Most Summarizers die around 10 mb files and this one seems like it chunks it better so that it's able to digest much bigger PDFs. ### 2/5 — 1 star for usability, 3 stars for summary *2023-04-22* There is no help. You have to pay. You have ZERO control over how much output or what kind of output you'll get. And the output is completely unusable as it is just text on a screen. You can't save it. You can't print it. You can only take a screenshot - of text. Useless. BUT - in several cases, it has generated more accurate/useful summaries than other AI. But it's fickle. One day it's a one-paragraph, the next it takes 10 minutes to summarize every page with a paragraph. **Developer response:** Hii, To copy the text right click on the generated output also there is a 'save to device' option to download the summary. We have implemented the feature to control over how much output or what kind of output you'll get. Also the time of output depends on the AI server and we are trying to have fast conversions.
