## What is PDFDesk?

PDFDesk helps you keep receipts, forms, notes, lease packets, and other everyday PDFs organized on your device. It gives you a practical local workspace for scanning, importing, previewing, searching, marking up, splitting, merging, and preparing PDFs without creating an account or uploading documents to a cloud service.

Use the document library to review sample packets, import PDFs from Files, create PDFs from images, or scan paper pages with the system document scanner on supported devices. Inside a document, you can preview pages, refresh local OCR text, manage page order, extract selected pages into a new PDF, add a basic annotation, apply a watermark, place a stamp, draw a multi-stroke signature, compress an export, and share the prepared file through the system share sheet.
