### 2/5 — Basic

*2026-08-05*

Notifications don’t always arrive. Messages don’t always send. Chat goes blank. Makes stressful situations even more stressful.

### 2/5 — Glitches Galore

*2026-03-01*

The conversation threads in this app constantly disappear and I have to close out of the app and re-open it (10x still isn’t enough sometimes I have to leave the app alone for an hour and just come back for the conversation to re-load and appear. Just recently (right now actually) I am having to try deleting the entire app and redownloading because I completely stopped receiving notifications from the other co-parent despite them sending messages.

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2026-02-28*

Idea is great, and happy to pay for the features! However, there are lots of glitches, including messages not sending, notifications not coming through, the chat sometimes shows as blank. These glitches are really unhelpful when you’re already trying to navigate a fractured coparenting situation. I sent an email to the developers a week ago regarding this and I’ve had no response. Money down the drain!

### 4/5 — Some slight delay

*2025-12-30*

Initial setup was fairly simple. Haven’t really dived into the app or given it enough time to get a real feel of the mechanics. I did have a slight issue with seeing new messages being sent to me or me being able to send messages. But it looks like the problem has been resolved. I will give it a few months and then update my review. Right now I’m standing at about 3-1/2 stars but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt with a 4 star rating.

### 2/5 — New update 👎🏼

*2025-05-05, version 3.0.0*

Since the recent update, the app has been experiencing a lot of issues. I keep getting an error message saying, “Something went wrong, please try again later.” It’s become very frustrating and makes the app almost unusable. Hoping the developers can fix this soon.

### 3/5 — Lifesaver but still buggy

*2025-04-14*

I have been using this app for 3+ years now and I am still a subscriber and paying monthly for the services offered. It has given me control over an emotionally out of control coparent, which I am thankful for.
However, very often I’ll try to log in and an error message will say “Authentication Something Went Wrong”. Happens for a few hours then it will suddenly work again.
As of this moment, I cannot access my app to receive a message from my coparent regarding our son’s soccer practice in 43 minutes. The logistics are included in the message I cannot access - which is very frustrating.

### 4/5 — Getting better

*2024-06-14*

App still has some issues however the developer was opened to address some by manually entering new canned messages for instance. This is not as optimal as making our own via an agreement system but it’s definitely better than being stuck with what was there.

Looking forward to giving it 5 stars when canned messages can be added/edited/removed/blocked via an agreement system between the two parties, or even mediated by a 3rd party. Not via the developer.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work On WIFi

*2024-03-07*

There are few bugs that need to be worked out. Unfortunately I can’t use the app on WiFi. I work in a hospital and there are areas i don’t get service and I have to connect to WiFi with out service I can’t reach my child’s mom nor can I see our previous messages. Also there is a lot of lagging and error messages sometimes when sending messages

### 2/5 — App is sandbagging you to buy in

*2023-06-22*

Itni is sluggish and always logging me out andnwithholding perjs for payment tskes forever to load and connect

### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible

*2023-04-29*

Site goes down no help just apologies no timeframe to get it back going. This is ran by one person and she doesn’t know what she’s doing. She has to use an outside company to fix it. Do not buy this app.

### 1/5 — Fathers BEWARE!

*2023-04-10*

Your app does nothing but built unamicable and completely inappropriate conflict. It’s completely unheard of the restrictions that you allow your users to put on their co-parents for right and proper communication. All your app does is cultivate a very, very damaging victim-mentality that continues to create unamicable communication.

I believe what you are creating is causing direct-damage to the children in whom many co-parents (namely Fathers) desire access to, for the child’s wellbeing and healthy development. You should close and never give access to such an app to the public! You should be ashamed at what you’re doing to children!

NOTE to FATHERS: Legally, you do NOT need an app to communicate with your co-parent. Know your rights and your role in your child’s life!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Constantly lagging

*2026-01-25, version 3.0.6*

It’s always lagging, messages don’t always go through. Sometimes the messages don’t load at all even after closing and restarting app. Super frustrating

### 1/5 — Changes your messages without your knowledge

*2025-10-05*

I was shocked to find out that this app is as changing my messages without my knowledge. What my screen showed was completely different than what my exes phone showed and it caused a lot of unnecessary conflict and confusion because of adding as much as multiple sentences. I had a protective order and do not feel comfortable spending time with my children’s father and this app changed me offering 2:30 as a good time for him to drop off things (he’s not even allowed in my house) to “looking forward to spending time together with you”. This is not ok!

### 1/5 — App does nothing

*2025-06-27, version 3.0.1*

I set it up with my coparent, set limits to how often he could message me and how long his messages could be. He proceeded to text me incessantly and no matter the configurations I tried to set, there was no limit placed via the app that actually did anything. It just doesn’t work and created 2 weeks of stress for me having to be constantly bombarded by my abusive ex.

### 1/5 — UPDATE PROBLEMS

*2025-05-13, version 3.0.0*

I’ve been using this app for over two years. The recent update won’t allow me to access my account, any of my communication history and I have court coming up in 3 months. I’ve contacted you several times and heard nothing! I cannot communicate with my ex, I can’t access anything - it just shows a blank white screen!!

Please PLEASE contact me!

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-11-24*

Terrible - messages take ages to send. Always logs you out and doesn’t remember login details. Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2024-11-05*

This app crashes constantly. You’re typing and all of a sudden everything closes and anything you wrote is gone. Sometimes you think it sent a message but it didn’t. It has actually caused more problems with my coparent than helped us because now all he does is complain about the app crashing. He even deleted it and now refuses to get another one, so it’s been more headache than help.

**Developer response:** There was a pesky bug that was causing some problems for some users. We have fixed the issue. As always, we appreciate your feedback.

### 1/5 — Nothing is free

*2023-11-18*

Don’t bother downloading the app unless you want to spend £9 a month for it. Description lies and says there are loads of free features, but it’s wrong, you have to pay to use anything on this app. Rubbish

### 1/5 — Free my A**

*2023-11-18*

Absolutely nothing free, description states that there are loads of free features. There aren’t. You have to pay £9 a month for this app to do anything, don’t bother downloading.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy it

*2023-11-17, version 2.3.12*

Worse app ever, inconsistent with ability to message regardless of paying. Cost is high for features. You have to retype password with every message

### 1/5 — A controlling narcissist's dream app

*2023-05-22*

This app has features that seem handy to a parent with an abusive coparent, however a parent that needs protection would be likely to not apply them. However, a parent who is abusive sets things into "canned chat" limits characters, messages per day etc making it impossible to even coordinate or do anything really. It took me reaching out to my coparent's lawyer and costing him money to even be allowed to set summer vacation plans. God forbid there is ever an emergency that does not allow for the time it takes to email lawyer and finish the loop. When set to limited characters and 30min between messages it glitches and resets the timer causing for one simple communication to take several days. All the while as the parent that wants to cooperate, I get long chains, accusations etc after hours and simply as a silent whipping post.
Needless to say court is likely again in the near future and as bad for the kids as it is now; it will paint the narcissist for me

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — When you need help

*2025-04-24*

Healthy boundaries even in your hardest conversations - it’s a much needed platform to help parents keep it BIFF (Brief Informative Friendly and Firm)!

**Developer response:** Boundaries can be so hard sometimes! Especially when your co-parent doesn't like to respect the boundaries you've asked for. I'm so happy that you have found some peace using the app, which lets you determine your own boundaries instead of relying on your co-parent to honor what you've requested. ☮️

### 5/5 — Best App for Communication

*2025-02-08, version 2.5.1*

Way better than our family wizard. Free unless you need the works, and even then it’s a fair price. Doesn’t limit the number of parents either.

### 5/5 — The app I’ve been waiting for

*2025-02-04*

I can’t tell you how much more peace I have in my life because my ex is not bombarding me with nasty, belittling messages. And I don’t get 100 messages a day anymore! I can change the restrictions if I want but I don’t see that happening.

### 5/5 — This app gives ME the control

*2025-02-03*

Other apps out there give my coparent the control over how often, how long and content of messages. This app allows me to set boundaries on all of that so that I’m not relying on him to make a good choice. I can force him to work within MY boundaries.

### 5/5 — A great app with great support

*2024-10-16*

Thank you, Peaceful Parent team. It is very challenging trying to coparent with somebody who has no genuine intention. Your app has allowed me to set my boundaries and communicate only as needed. When I needed support for accusations and technical confirmation, you guys were there for me. Thank you so very much. I sincerely appreciate, the people behind the scenes and the app tremendously.

### 5/5 — Even the abuser loves the app!

*2024-06-02*

Thank you for this app. It is everything that is needed when dealing with a narcissistic (or individual with narcissistic traits) and coparenting. The narcissist even seem pleased as they can control and manipulate controls to suite their desired intent. ALL is recorded and utilizing the controls is annoying at worst and tolerable. Finally some peace. Deeply grateful.

### 5/5 — An app focused on better communication

*2024-03-27*

This app offers what so many other coparenting apps do not — the ability to help both parties stick to what’s important. With any new concept in the form of an app, there are adjustments to be made, but overall I’ve had a great experience using this app. For me, the monthly price for the extra features is justified for the peace of mind.

### 5/5 — Brilliant searched for a suitable app and this has been perfect

*2024-02-23*

II

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback!

### 5/5 — A narcosis’s worst enemy

*2023-10-13, version 2.3.10*

If you think you need this app, get it. After filing police reports and enduring harassment for years because I must stay connected to my children’s father, finally, I am in control. And he HATES it.

### 5/5 — Got it right

*2022-07-17*

I have tried a few parenting communication apps and this one has it right. It works more like a chat then another ugly email product and it lets me flag chats that are offensive. It’s user friendly and taking advantage of these features is super straightforward. I really appreciate having all my communication recorded like this and it’s helping me hold my co-parent accountable for keeping the peace. Thank you!!!
