## What is Peak Fettle?

Peak Fettle is a workout log for lifting. Log a set in a few taps. Peak Fettle works out an estimated one-rep max from it and ranks the lift as an estimated percentile.

Logging
- Weight and reps for lifts, time and distance for cardio.
- Supersets, drop sets, warm-up sets and a rest timer.
- RIR or RPE on any set, if you want it.
- EMOM, AMRAP and interval timers.
- A load calculator for barbells and machine stacks.
- Kilograms or pounds. The weight you type is the weight that is saved.

Strength numbers
- An estimated one-rep max from your working sets, using the Epley formula.
- Estimated percentiles on 51 lifts. They take your sex, bodyweight, age and years trained into account, and they are worked out on your iPhone.
- Nine strength tiers, from Iron to World Class.

Routines and plans
- Starter splits such as Push/Pull/Legs, or routines you build yourself.
- A plan generator that builds a weekly plan on your iPhone from your schedule and equipment.
- Each plan week lists the sets, target RIR and rest, marks deload weeks, and starts the day's workout in one tap.

Streaks and groups
- Your streak counts weeks, not days. Log a workout in a week and the streak carries on.
- Groups of 2 to 12 people share a weekly goal. You choose how much the other members see. Groups open once your account is 30 days old and has 10 logged sessions.

Apple Health
Peak Fettle reads workouts, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, sleep, steps and body weight from Apple Health. Cardio you record in Apple Health, including Apple Watch workouts, comes into your log with heart-rate zones and splits. Finished Peak Fettle workouts are saved to Apple Health, and you can turn that off. Workout routes stay on your iPhone.

Import and export
- Import your history from Strong or Hevy CSV files.
- Export your whole log as a CSV file on any plan.

Widgets
Home Screen widgets show today's workout, this week's training or your streak.

Free and Pro
Peak Fettle is free to use, and you sign in with an account. On the free plan your workout log is stored on your iPhone and works offline.

Peak Fettle Pro adds:
- Sync across your iPhones.
- A copy of your training history on our server.
- The detailed plan builder.
- Readiness and recovery insights.
- Garmin Connect and Strava CSV import.
- LifeOS, our app for screen time limits, habits and goals.

Subscription
Peak Fettle Pro is one subscription for Peak Fettle and LifeOS. There are two plans:
- Peak Fettle Pro Monthly: billed every month, $6 a month in the US.
- Peak Fettle Pro Yearly: billed every year, $60 a year in the US.
The App Store shows the price in your currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-11-02

Apple Health
- Cardio you record in Apple Health, including Apple Watch workouts, now comes into your log with heart-rate zones, splits and laps. New workouts keep arriving in the background.
- Heart rate from your Apple Watch is added to a Peak Fettle session you logged at the same time.
- Imported workouts count toward your streak and your groups. You can turn this off.
- New Apple Health settings screen under Profile > Apple Health.
- Sleep is dated to the morning you woke up.

Import and export
- Free accounts can export every workout to a CSV file, and Peak Fettle can import that file back.
- Strong and Hevy imports let you pick kg or lb with a preview, keep or skip warm-ups, and update sets you imported before. Files that use semicolons or decimal commas now import.

Plans
- Each plan week shows the sets, target RIR and rest, marks deload weeks, and can start the day's workout.

Groups
- An invite inbox, invites by display name, and a preview of what the group will see before you join.

Rankings
- Percentiles are labelled as estimates, a new screen explains the method, and rankings use lifts from the past 365 days.

Account and backup
- Reset a forgotten password from the sign-in screen.
- Restoring a backup shows what will change, and you can undo it for 7 days.
- Clearer messages when sign-in fails.

Fixes
- Signing out no longer deletes the workouts on your iPhone.
- Deleting a free account now also deletes it from our server.
- A workout that runs past midnight stays on the day it started.
- Logging a rest day no longer adds a second day.
- Weights show in your chosen unit in the logger and on share cards, and the load calculator handles machine stacks.
- Pro sync retries a workout that failed to upload instead of skipping it.
- Buying or restoring Pro waits until your account is confirmed.
- Switching accounts no longer shows the previous account's custom exercises.
- A recovery screen opens if the workout database on your iPhone can't be read.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-13

• The strength map: your ranked lifts now score each muscle group, drawn on a front-and-back body diagram from weakest to strongest, with plain-language coaching notes backed by your real 90-day training volume.
• Plans target weak points: generated training plans add weekly sets for muscle groups you're behind on — and the plan's reasoning tells you exactly why.
• Start today's scheduled workout straight from Home — the button now names it ("Start Pull workout").
• Daily weigh-in settings live in one place, reachable from the Routines tab and the schedule editor.
• Sharper numbers: suggestions and previous-best now always show the exact weight you typed.
• Fixes: editing a past set keeps your next set prefilled, finished exercises stop being re-suggested, and percentile cards no longer ask for a bodyweight you already logged.
