## What is Peak Hybrid?

One training log for lifting and endurance. Lifts go in the app. Rides and runs sync from Strava. Both get graded together.

Peak Hybrid is built for people who lift and also train endurance. Most training apps cover one side of that. Peak Hybrid holds five disciplines in one history and reads them as one athlete.

FIVE DISCIPLINES, ONE HISTORY
Lift, ride, run, swim, and hike. Hikes carry a pack weight if you ruck. Every session lands on the same calendar and feeds the same score.

THE PH NUMBER
One number from 0 to 100, built from six inputs: session volume against your own target, spread across the disciplines you turned on, muscle coverage across push, pull, legs, and core, consistency, how polarized your cardio is, and form, which is fitness minus fatigue. Tap the number to open every input, what it is reading right now, and what would move it. The score and all six inputs are free.

LOG YOUR LIFTS
Sets, reps, weight in kilograms or pounds, and RPE. Warmup, drop, and failure set types. Supersets with shared rest. A rest timer that tells your lock screen when the set is up. Personal-record detection with an estimated one-rep max on every lift, across a library of 181 exercises.

CARDIO ARRIVES FROM STRAVA
Connect Strava once and your rides, runs, swims, hikes, and general sport activity come in on their own with power, pace, heart rate, and zones. Peak Hybrid estimates your FTP, max heart rate, and lactate threshold heart rate from what you have already ridden and run, so your zones are set without a test.

TRAIN NOW
A suggested session for today, ranked against what you have actually been doing. Coming off a hard block it points easier. Ten days without a ride and it points at the bike. Away for a week and it starts you back with something short. One tap to begin.

217 CURATED SESSIONS
Across lift, ride, run, swim, hike, and hybrid conditioning, including the strength work endurance athletes skip and the aerobic work lifters skip. Cardio sessions scale up or down before you start.

SEND IT TO YOUR GEAR
Push a structured session to your Apple Watch, to a Wahoo ELEMNT or KICKR, or to Garmin through an intervals.icu connection. Bring history the other way with .fit and .tcx file import.

APPLE HEALTH
Read only. Peak Hybrid never writes to Apple Health. It reads your workouts, heart rate, and body metrics, and merges heart rate onto cardio sessions that came in without it.

A CARD EVERY MONTH
At the end of each month Peak Hybrid builds a set of cards from what you actually did: your number, your split, your base, your records. Free to keep.

WHAT IS FREE
All five disciplines and unlimited logging. The PH number and every input behind it. Train Now. The calendar. Strava connect and automatic sync, showing the last 14 days. Apple Health. File import. Monthly cards. Share cards. A starter set of curated routines in every discipline, plus three saved favorites of your own.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-04

Log a cardio session by hand when you did not take a device with you, and edit it afterwards. Hand-logged sessions carry training load and can be shared to Strava.

VO2max is now read from your best sustained efforts rather than whole-run averages, so it reflects recent training and can move down as well as up.

The screen stays awake through a workout.

Fixes: repeating a previous workout no longer duplicates its exercises. Backspace clears a set cell. Decimal weights can be entered and edited. Supersets survive saving a routine and reopening it.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-07-05

What's new in 1.0.5:

- Cardio thresholds are now estimated automatically. Connect Strava and Peak Hybrid sets your FTP, max heart rate, and LTHR, so your training zones are ready without manual entry.
- Heart rate now merges from Apple Health on cardio workouts for more complete data.
- Ride laps show heart rate, and cardio workouts now generate personal-record cards.
- 26 new exercises added to the library.
- Your favorite workouts now appear first in the schedule.
- Stability fixes and refinements.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-06-27

Apple Health: connect Apple Health to import your completed workouts, newest first.

Better run labels: runs are now named by the work you actually did, so a hard run reads as the effort it was instead of easy.

Plus fixes and refinements.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-06-14

Smoother, more reliable Strava connection.

Drag to reorder your template shelves, with cardio and strength split cleanly by sport.

New Foundation sessions to find your starting numbers across the main lifts.

Plus fixes to duration logging and interval tuning.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-12

Monthly cards: your training month, distilled into shareable cards built from your real data.

Ride and run share cards: peak powers, peak paces, and full session detail with power and heart rate traces.

Post-workout lift cards with records and best sets.

Run pace profile with racer percentile.

Log any sport, smarter templates, and a refreshed Progress tab.

Fixes and polish throughout.
