## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5.2 — 2026-10-17

Lessons, rebuilt
• Every kind of lesson step now has its own layout, so reading, practising and checking your understanding each feel clear and focused.
• Tasks and level challenges share one simple layout: a Goal tab with the brief, and a Workspace tab for your work.
• Mapping: rebuild the concept map you just studied by dragging each idea into its place.
• New level icons and one consistent level style across the app, plus fresh artwork on the Learn page.
• Smoother typing, cleaner headings and faster movement between lessons.

Peak Mentor
• A redesigned chat with clearer bubbles. Replies unfold smoothly as they appear.
• Mentor remembers your recent conversation as you move between lessons in the same skill. Clear chat starts fresh whenever you like.
• Mentor helps you understand the ideas and work through tasks yourself, without handing you the answer.
• Suggested follow-up questions are one tap away.

Getting started
• New learners try a short lesson and finish it with a quick challenge before creating an account, with a retry if the first answer misses.

Network
• "Open to collaborate" is now "Looking for help". Write a longer note about what you need, and tap a card to see someone's full details.

Fixes
• Fixed an issue that could stop skills from opening on some devices.
• General polish and performance improvements.

### 2.5.1 — 2026-10-12

Find people to build with, and a simpler way to talk to them.

• Open to collaborate: post what kind of help you’re looking for and let people with the right skills message you. Turn on “Appear here” to be found yourself.
• Follow people: follow anyone on Peak and see their milestones on your Network page.
• New Chats page: start a conversation from one place, and archive or delete the chats you no longer need.
• Refreshed portfolio and profile: your skills, certifications and verified work are easier to see and share.
• Company pages and applications: open roles are clearer, and you can follow your applications and replies in one place.

Plus many smaller fixes and improvements.

### 2.5 — 2026-09-30

Peak 2.5 makes it easier to start, easier to keep going, and clearer where your skills can take you.

GET STARTED FASTER
• Try a real lesson before you create an account. Your progress comes with you when you sign up.
• Sign up with Apple, Google or email, using your name instead of a username.

LEARN MORE CLEARLY
• Concept maps: see how a module's ideas connect, then step through them one card at a time.
• Redesigned lessons with clearer practice steps and more helpful feedback when you try again.
• A celebration after every lesson that shows you what's next.
• New level artwork and a clearer view of your progress through each level.
• Smoother voice conversations with Peak Mentor.

BUILD A DAILY HABIT
• Learning streaks: learn every day to grow your streak and celebrate milestones.
• Streak Freezes protect your streak on days you miss.
• Daily reminders so you don't break your streak.

FIND ROLES THAT FIT
• Explore now matches roles to your skills and shows where you stand: open to you, one level away, or a new skill to learn.
• Your first certification now takes centre stage on your portfolio.
• Clear next steps on Explore, Network and Workspace when you're just getting started.

AND MORE
• A Chats button with an unread badge on every main page.
• Dark mode improvements across the whole app.
• Smoother animations and many smaller fixes.

### 2.4.6 — 2026-09-06

This is the biggest update Peak has had on iPhone. The learning experience has been
rebuilt from the ground up, and a lot of the app now works the way it always should have.

A NEW WAY TO LEARN
• Every skill is now five levels, each built from short modules you can finish in a
  couple of minutes.
• Thirteen kinds of lesson — concept maps, worked examples, predictions, contrast pairs,
hands-on tasks and more — so you're doing something, not just reading.
• Finish a level's modules to unlock its Gate Challenge and certify the level.
• Concept maps are drawn properly now: each idea, what it means, and how it connects
  to the next.

MEET PEAK MENTOR
• An AI mentor inside every lesson. Ask by typing or by voice.
• It knows which lesson you're on and where you've been getting stuck, and offers a hand
  when you stall.
• Your Skill Hub now shows what your mentor has picked up about the way you learn.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU SIGN UP
• New start: pick a goal and do two real lessons before creating an account. Your
progress comes with you when you do.

PROFILE AND PORTFOLIO, TOGETHER
• One page now, whether it's yours or someone else's.
• Verified skills show the levels you've actually certified, not just the ones you've opened.
• Share your portfolio with anyone using a public link.

PEOPLE, COMPANIES AND WORK
• Rebuilt Network page: people on a similar path, more experienced learners, and
  portfolios worth a look.
• Explore ranks companies and roles by how well they fit the skills you've built.
• Company pages now show a company's real projects and team instead of an empty shell.
• Applications you've sent have their own place in your Inbox.

CHAT THAT KEEPS UP
• Voice messages in direct chats.
• Link previews, message reactions, and tap a reply to jump back to what it answered.
• Long conversations open far faster.

STREAKS THAT COUNT
• Streaks are recorded properly now, so rewards and your weekly freeze token work
  as intended.
• A new celebration the moment you earn one.

AND A LONG LIST OF SMALLER THINGS
• Sign in with your username or your email, reset a forgotten password, and verify your
email when it suits you rather than at sign-up.
• The skill catalogue loads live again, so new skills appear as soon as we add them.
• Dozens of layout and typography fixes across the learning screens so iPhone matches
  the design.

Thanks for using Peak. Tell us what to build next.

### 2.3 — 2026-06-26

- Email verification on signup and login with email and password.
