### 4/5 — Professional S&C Training App

*2026-07-22*

I’ve been using Peak Strength now for 2 months and this is by far the best S&C programming for sports and general fitness.
Most other apps have very generic and repetitive programming however Peak Strength is very much tailored to each sport or goal with specific Pre hab work and post recovery work on each day. Also everything can be fine tuned to suit along with addons when needed.
It’s quite expensive however If it had Iwatch GPS integration for running and link to Apple health I’d happily give it 5 stars and pay for annual subscription.

### 3/5 — Good but repetitive

*2026-02-24, version 2.14.0*

Great structured work outs but after 4 weeks the structure repeats itself in an annoying way. I lift 4x week. I venture off on my own for diversity of movement, so I'm at 2x week using the app with 2x week doing my own thing. The $40 / week isn't entirely worth it at this point. Will likely stop the n the next few weeks.

### 5/5 — Awesome App!

*2026-02-09*

I was a former collegiate track and field athlete and the adjustment to workouts after college was hard. This app has made it so much easier! It’s shaped around your personal goals and totally customizable, so it keeps you on track with what you want. It’s flexible, so you can select how often you are able to work out and still get results. If you don’t have certain equipment, you can replace exercises too. It’s a strength app that feels like it’s made just for you!

**Developer response:** Hey Payden,

We're so happy that you feel so strongly about Peak Strength. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to continue exceeding your standards!

### 5/5 — Pro fighter review Siron Harrison

*2026-01-26, version 2.11.0*

This is a great app as a professional fighter who doesn’t have a strength coach this app really keeps me disciplined and in check 10 out of 10 recommend for people who struggle to come up with workouts

### 2/5 — Can’t enter year

*2026-01-25, version 2.11.0*

When attempting to fill in the “tell me about yourself” portion I am unable to enter the year portion of the birthday.
Apple iPhone 11 Promax. IOS ver 26.2

### 4/5 — Great but requires money

*2026-01-23, version 2.11.0*

I did a 1-3 month free trial with this app for Strength and Conditioning for preparing for the football season and wow does it give you a significant advantage. This is good if you’re an athlete and are trying to get into the weight room and improve your performance. The program was very organized and great and not those typical gym app programs, only problem is that it cost money which I don’t blame them. If you can afford it, get it.

### 5/5 — First Tymer

*2026-01-07, version 2.11.0*

I love the rest timer feature.

### 5/5 — Best app

*2026-01-05, version 2.11.0*

I’ve used a few different training apps and this is the best I’ve used to date, it adjusts the weights and scheme with you

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2026-01-03*

First, let me say that I am a big fan of Dane Millers YT videos and that there is no denying that he’s a world class expert in strength training. But I don’t think the AI used in this app properly reflects his expertise. I’ve used it for 10 weeks now and there are too many questionable program choices by the AI. For example today was Upper Body Hypertrophy day but the warmup consisted solely of lower body movements: lunges, heel-toe walk etc.
Also, the effort gauge seems to be off frequently. For example, dips come easy to me. I can knock out 20 with strict form but the app regularly gives me sets of 7 and 9 with no weight even when I report that such sets are easy. OTOH, I reported that 7 chins with BW+20 was a max effort and it gave it to me again the next set. There are other instances like this.
Finally, I thought it was cool that someone there contacted me after me first 20 workout to see how I was doing. But when I responded, no answer. I replied again and again no answer.
All in all it’s not a bad app but I will be canceling soon. Maybe when they get the AI further along I will try again.

**Developer response:** Hi, and thank you for your feedback! It means a lot to us that you want to see Peak Strength improve as much as we do. For clarity, Dane Miller writes all the training plans and workouts; there is no AI involved. Additionally, the weight suggestions work best for weighted exercises, and we are currently improving the recommendations for bodyweight workouts. Finally, we look forward to supporting your continued success, so we will make sure to be in touch to answer your previous questions. - PS Coaching Staff

### 5/5 — I didn’t get to do it

*2026-01-02, version 2.11.0*

### 5/5 — Outstanding App

*2025-12-16*

Been looking for an App that integrates strength, hypertrophy and plyometric work all in one for a long time, and the Peak Strength team delivered!! There is a plethora of programs/workouts to choose from and the weekly programming is highly customisable which is really helpful for managing athletic workload and a busy weekly schedule all together! All in all this is gem of an App for any active gym-goer or athlete.

**Developer response:** We're so glad to hear you're enjoying Peak Strength! Thank you for your kind words and we are pumped to see your results in the future. - PS Coaching Staff

### 5/5 — Sed lowery

*2025-12-10, version 2.11.0*

Great app my strength gains are tremendous

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2025-12-01, version 2.10.1*

I struggled writing my own workouts after finishing my college throwing career. This app helped me A LOT!

### 5/5 — 3 month cycle completed

*2025-11-01*

I jumped from 25 to 52 push-ups, I’m more athletic than before. This is much better normal lifting which is only for hypertrophy. My runs are better my sprints are better and i have more energy

**Developer response:** We are so glad to hear that you made so much progress! Thank you for sharing your progress, and we look forward to your future success. - PS Coaching Staff

### 4/5 — Great workouts!

*2025-10-08*

Been using the app for about a month, and I love the workouts, explainer videos and notes, etc. The dynamic weight/rep schemes based on difficulty rating is great.

The app has a couple bugs - when a timer runs out while my phone is locked (and sometimes in other situations), the app shuts down and I have to restart and resume workout. Would also like to see the weights laid out for each set without having to navigate to the specific set to see it. (Obviously it’s dynamic so it’d be subject to change, but I’d love to know up front if I should be ready to switch weights on the next set)

**Developer response:** Hi Ian, thank you for all the amazing feedback! We have been hard at work taking your requests into account and have improved our rest timer and screen locking as part of the November 2025 update. We hope this makes Peak Strength easier and more enjoyable to use!

### 5/5 — Hard but good

*2025-10-06*

Just starting week 2. This scheme is hard, don’t get me wrong. Going up in weight as you get tired is a mental game as well as physical. But feel great after.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Battery usage

*2026-02-17, version 2.13.0*

The workouts are decent, the battery draw is way too much for an app. Drops 1% every 2min app is open. Has to be a way they can make this better for over $30 a month fee

### 1/5 — Awesome but overpriced

*2026-02-13, version 2.13.0*

Too damn expensive. Have to work overtime for this app.

### 1/5 — Issue

*2025-11-06*

The app is not working it gets stuck during the initial part after choosing the choice of sport

**Developer response:** We are so sorry for any inconvenience you experienced using Peak Strength. We were able to identify the issue and resolved this, so you can no create a training plan of your choice. We look forward to supporting your future goals! - PS Coaching Staff

### 1/5 — No free mode

*2025-10-09, version 2.9.0*

No free mode

### 1/5 — TOO EXPENSIVE!

*2025-02-28, version 2.3.0*

TOO EXPENSIVE? why pay $40 monthly, and $400 YEARLY? That’s outrageous and there’s no way I’m
Going for that.

### 1/5 — DONT BUY

*2025-02-05*

Awful app interface such a joke tech team should be fired. Crashes on me every time. Had to take 3 weeks off due to injury and the program said it had been completed even though i still had the summit phase and final testing to go. Would not recommend. The programs may be good but tech team need a good hard look at themselves.

**Developer response:** Hi, I'm so sorry for your poor experience with Peak Strength. We appreciated the email you sent to our support team and we are happy that we could amicably resolve your technical issues. Your feedback is always helpful and feel free to reach out for further inquiries! All the best, PS Team

### 1/5 — Great Training Program & App with Bugs, Horrible Customer Service

*2024-12-17*

I have been working with athletic performance programming for years. The only training app that comes close to these designed programs are the programs you can purcahse through TrainHeroic. I would have kept using the app, but after my trial period the promotion that was offered to me didn't work and no one would repsond to my messages requesting to have this offer applied to my account since the discount URL didn't work. I would have stayed a cusotmer, but the lack of response from the support team and buggy issues with the app closing during rests between sets was annoying enough to have me leave a program that I enjoyed.

### 1/5 — Great Programming, Buggy App with bad Support

*2024-12-17, version 2.2.1*

I never leave reviews, but compelled to do so given the less than desirable support. I recently signed up for a free trial. Once my trial ended I was sent an email for a Black Friday deal. I followed the link and was charged the full amount for the subscription. I have reached out to support numerous times requesting to be able apply the promo to my account. Still have not gotten any response. Why send a promo if you can’t even honor it?

I love the athletic programming and have recommended to friends, but the bugs that time out the app between sets and less than desirable customer support has me going back to TrainHeroic.

### 1/5 — Will not create program

*2024-12-06, version 2.2.1*

It’s sad bc I know that the product will work, but unfortunately the app is not working right now. It can’t create programs and gets stuck at the “evaluating strength needs” portion. I hope this can be resolved soon bc I have a fight coming up.

### 1/5 — No wrestling programs

*2024-10-23, version 2.0.0*

I input all my information and it asks me to select a program but gives me nothing to select?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very useful App

*2026-06-15, version 2.14.3*

Been using App since March 2023. New features make it better every time. Love the ability to choose different exercises. I’m almost 71 and needed something planned out for me. Recently started training on site at GS one day and follow Peak Strength when training at home.

### 5/5 — Excellent Programs

*2026-05-31*

I’ve been using Peak Strength for almost a year and tried various programs in the app. I’m a 5’4” 140lb 41yo former basketball player with knee, back shoulder and ankle issues. For years I couldn’t lunge or squat and this program got me back on track in about 6 months. I was even doing Olympic lifts that I’d never attempted before. I have a pretty solid foundation and feel confident that I can begin working more on the running and plyos without the fear of injuring myself. I have a desire to be able to move well and play rec sports. This app has drastically improved my chances of doing so. Now I can squat 195, bench 115, and power clean 75 with no assistance.

### 5/5 — Non-Athlete Friendly!

*2026-05-26*

I’d been lifting for about 6 months prior to getting started with this app and loved all of the detailed instructions! I felt comfortable trying new things and confident that I’m doing them right. I’m just a regular lady (late 30s, haven’t done sports since high school) and was looking for something to help decrease symptoms of aging. The workouts are difficult in a great way and it feels like I have a coach telling me what to do each workout. I get stronger every workout and look forward to continuous progress. 100% worth it!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-05-26*

I’ve been using for 2 years. This is the best app ever. With many sports available

### 5/5 — I’m going to miss it

*2026-05-11, version 2.14.3*

Great app with great exercises, plans, and coaching. Only complaint is that there could be a better selection of alternate exercises and the cost. I really enjoyed the app for the past year but won’t be renewing due to cost.

### 5/5 — The best

*2026-03-10, version 2.14.1*

The best workout app ever created

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-02-26, version 2.14.0*

I’ve tried many different fitness apps/programs and this is by far the best! If you want to dominate your rec league, dunk on your kids, become a better athlete, and get jacked this is the app for you!

### 5/5 — Keith Rowes Review

*2026-02-22, version 2.14.0*

Helped me get over plateaus, flexible, stronger, and more athletic!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-02-21, version 2.14.0*

Great training programs with a lot of customization, periodization, helpful and informative videos and progressions. Great purchase for someone looking to progress in their training, albeit expensive.

### 5/5 — GETTING STRONGER

*2026-02-10, version 2.13.0*

Love the different exercise to help push my body and my prs
