Access your patient medical histories, alerts, recent work, appointments, prescriptions history, clinical notes, and even clinical images. You can access a quick financial snapshopt of today's activity with the confidence of knowing everything is done securely and meets HIPAA standards. Two or more years between updates. If you make post op calls to your patients you can easily dictate a note. The dictation integrates well with my iPhone. You can look up patients or referrals for after hours phone calls, however, you may not be able to down load a radiograph to review (even with excellent Wi-Fi or cellular signal). Carestream has multiple monthly charges for the app on one device I now have Citrix virtual desktop- and go to my PC- may be a better and less expensive solution in the long run- updates are more frequent ### 1/5 — Pearl is worthless, less than one star *2017-11-09* This app must be low on carestream’s list of priorities. I have been a softdent user for many years. I have had pearl app for a few years. It has never worked consistently. The IT people seem to not care if it works or not. Obviously the last update was 2015 shows their lack of interest. ### 1/5 — Complete Waste of Money *2015-07-19* Worthless app with $1000(+) price tag. Unable to log-in, call support, waste a ton of time, unable to log-in a week later. Company line is that "your server is the problem". Trust me, after 4 years of this run around, Carestream is the problem. LogMeIn app is free, this one is insanely expensive. LogMeIn allows you to see your schedule and radiographs, you can't access Pearl when you need to. Easy decision to skip this garbage app. ### 3/5 — Apple OS8 compatibility issues *2014-10-05* App worked great before OS8- now the app locks up with the Call List function- you can't write a note. Have booked several new pt appt's when away from office that might have never called if I just gave them a business card and said call me! The pearl module needs to constantly be restarted. I'm constantly getting error messages saying it cannot connect at this time. Then it works fine for a week or so then it starts all over. I finally downloaded GotoMyPC on my phone. That works much better.
