## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.7 — 2026-11-04

• 1-to-1 video calls, end-to-end encrypted just like voice calls (both people need version 1.1.7)
• The phone button in the chat header opens a menu: Audio call or Video call; during a call, Camera turns your video on or off and Flip switches cameras
• The (i) button next to "YOUR CONVERSATION IS PROTECTED" explains how to use the emoji to check that your call is protected
• More reliable calls on weak connections and IPv6-only networks; a hint when the other person hears you with dropouts
• A new message moves its chat to the top of the list smoothly
• Noir theme: lighter chat background, more contrast for messages and the input field, colored icons in Settings
• Security and reliability improvements

### 1.1.6 — 2026-10-31

• The Audio button icon in a call shows where the sound is playing: iPhone, speaker, headphones or car
• With nothing connected, Audio turns the speaker on or off with one tap; with headphones, Bluetooth or in a car, it shows a list of outputs with the current one checked
• Smoother chat scrolling, showing and hiding transcripts, selection, search and animations throughout the app
• Security and reliability improvements

### 1.1.5 — 2026-10-30

• Pinned messages: several per chat — for both people in a private chat, for everyone in a group
• Transcribe voice messages and video notes right on your iPhone with on-device speech recognition (iOS 26 and later)
• A transcript in another language is translated into the app language on device (iOS 26 and later)
• Playback panel for voice messages and video notes: resume where you paused, scrub, up to 2× speed
• Voice message length is now shown under the waveform
• Group photos in the chat list
• The message menu opens while your finger is down; the chat preview shows new messages right away
• The report dialog shows our support email for urgent cases: intimate images without consent, threats to children
• Block and Report in Find by username — for your contacts and members of shared groups
• An account blocked for breaking the rules sees a clear message and a contact email when signing in
• Confirmations for actions and clear network error messages
• Calls: steadier sound on a weak connection, smoother swipe to minimize

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-26

• Chat folders: tabs above the chat list, swipe between folders, add a chat to a folder with a long press
• New long-press menu for chats with a conversation preview — tap the preview to open the chat
• "Listen once" voice messages and pause while recording a video note
• Search in Chats — pull the list down; search when forwarding
• Swipe back from anywhere in a chat (iOS 26 and later)
• Report a sticker pack or a group, plus new report reasons
• "Emergency call" is now called "Urgent call"
• Calls: sound from the very first second, clearer labels for missed and declined calls
• Smoother animations throughout, security and stability improvements

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-12

• Save photos and videos from a chat to Photos or Files — select several at once
• Your Pearson ID QR code is now a link: the iPhone camera opens Pearson right away
• Stickers appear instantly, and the sticker panel opens smoothly
• Chats open faster
• More stable calls and a more reliable sign-out
• New avatars in the Noir theme
• Security and stability improvements
