### 5/5 — Great app for medical students

*2009-07-21, version 0*

This is a great app to have on your iPhone if you are a parent, resident or medical student. As a medical student I find the "when to call" section particularly useful to look over so I make sure I ask parents the important questions regarding their child's illness. The "care advice" is also useful to review before giving parents treatment advice. This is also a great app to browse through to expand your general pediatrics knowledge.

### 5/5 — Great app for peds residents

*2009-06-02, version 0*

This is a great reference for basic parental advice for residents and med students.

### 5/5 — Useful info for parents

*2009-05-13, version 0*

As parents of a toddler, my husband and I find this application to be really helpful. When you're wondering whether or not you should worry (or how much you should worry) about your child's fever or cough, this provides answers quickly. We have various baby books we can look at, but the layout of this program and the information in it seem much more accessible AND to the point - and, of course, if we're out and something comes up, we'll have the iPhone with us.

### 5/5 — A Doctor in My Pocket!

*2009-05-13, version 0*

We bought this app the other day and knew it would be helpful with everything our kids our up to. Sure enough, last week our oldest daughter came down with a fever in the evening and this weekend our son rode a motorized cycle into a tree branch (really!). Both times Pediatric SymptomMD made it easy for us to care for our children and reassured us that we didn't need to call our doctor's office. Thank you!

### 4/5 — Pediatric Symptommd

Busy family and kids illnesses never cooperate with vacation plans! We will try this app this summer. Sounds like a great idea

### 5/5 — Best App

*2020-09-21, version 5.6*

This has been out go to app since our daughter was born in 2017 and has never let us down. We love the home care but also appreciate the indicators of green yellow and red to let us know when we should reach out to her pediatrician. Strongly recommend for all parents.

### 5/5 — Helpful and accurate

*2014-04-18, version 3.25*

This is written by doctors, for parents. It's been especially helpful to figure out how to deal with a number of common and uncommon children's conditions. I repeatedly utilize the dosing tables to help figure out the appropriate dosing for a number of common meds by weight (which is something you can't get from the bottle). I take great comfort that this is written by a number of doctors and gives great practical advice. I recommend this app to all parents that I know.

### 5/5 — PedsRNinNC

*2011-06-21, version 2.5*

After 13 years as a Mother-Baby nurse, and 5 years as a Lactation consultant, I made a change to a peds clinic. I use this app everyday when triaging my calls from parents! Very user friendly & fast. I only wish I had this when my children were younger! Money well spent!! If your a medical student or parent you should own it too!!

### 5/5 — Healthy Family

*2010-11-16, version 0*

Well done! This app. is perfect for today's active lifestyle. The triage system is easy to use and very thorough. All parents should have this. It is like having a Doctor in your pocket!

### 5/5 — love it

### 5/5 — Excellent app for Mom

*2009-12-13, version 0*

I never write review but felt like I need to make exception for this one. Really love love love this app. It has all info moms need to care for their kids when they are sick. This is a MUST have app.

### 5/5 — Must Have App!

*2009-12-04, version 0*

If you have kids this app is a must. Easy to use application to help parents quickly determine whether to head to the ER, call the doctor during regular business hours or if there is something you can just do at home. The dosage tool is great to have whether at home or on vacation! Written by a doctor.

### 5/5 — Help for mom's mom

*2009-11-19, version 0*

This app answers all the "What should I do about this?" questions we get from our daughter - who is a new mom. I was emailing her the care advice right from the app, but we bought her an iPod touch for her b-day, so now she can figure it out on her own. ;-)

### 5/5 — Invaluable for parents

*2009-11-18, version 0*

Great information that's always in my pocket. As a parent of two young ones, it is invaluable. Won't replace your pediatrician, but helps you work through the problem and communicate with your Doctor so much more effectively. Highly, highly recommended for all parents as the ultimate reference for all things medical, backed by a trusted pediatrician and years of research and knowledge. (no, I don't know him personally - I'm just very satified). Worth every penny!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2009-10-16, version 0*

Very good app. Must have for new parents. I reference this app at least once a week for my 9 month old son.
