## What is PediGreeN?

PediGreeN is an app for managing your plants' pedigree and cultivation records, individual by individual.

[What You Can Record for Each Plant]
• Cultivar/individual name, genus, species, cultivar name, common name
• Scientific name, auto-generated from your classification data
• Origin, source, and purchase price
• 5-star rating, tags, and free-form notes
• A multi-photo gallery, plus side-by-side comparison shots to track growth over time
• 12 types of care logs (watering, repotting, fertilizing, and more), with weather and temperature recorded automatically
• Scheduled care dates with reminder notifications

[Serious Pedigree Tracking]
Just set the mother and father for any plant at the time of a cross or division, and a pedigree tree is generated automatically. Trace back up to 5 generations to see exactly where a plant came from — and what it has produced.

[QR Plant Tags, Printed at Home]
Connect over Bluetooth to a Brother P-touch printer (PT-P300BT, PT-P700BT, and more) to print QR-coded plant tags directly. Choose which details to include — cultivar name, ID code, scientific name, and more — and customize the layout. Scan the QR code on any tag to jump straight to that plant's record.

[PG-pass: Hand Off the Whole History, Not Just the Plant]
When you sell, trade, or gift a plant, share its full record — cultivar, photos, pedigree, and care history — with a single link. The recipient just taps it, and the plant is imported straight into their own PediGreeN.

[Manage Plants Together in Groups]
Organize plants into groups by growing area, source, or pest-control routine. Reminders and batch care logging work at the group level, while individual care records are still tracked per plant.

[Your Data Stays Yours]
Records are stored on your device by default. Turn on iCloud sync to keep everything up to date across your own devices. (When you use PG-pass, only the shared plant's data is uploaded externally.)
