## What is PEDVENT?

PEDVENT is an interactive teaching simulator for paediatric ventilation and applied respiratory physiology (ages 0–18 years · PICU).
Change the lung or the ventilator settings and watch waveforms, mechanics and arterial blood gas respond in real time. Explore invasive and non-invasive modes, paediatric lung states (including PARDS, severe asthma, blocked ETT and pneumothorax), weaning and NIV guidance, and workshop-style cases — built for education and training.
What you can practise
* Set mode and ventilatory settings; see live pressure, flow and volume graphics
* Compare lung states — normal lungs as the reference, then disease states that change compliance, resistance, shunt and dead space
* Read peak vs plateau, auto-PEEP, P–V loop behaviour and simulated ABG together
