## What is Peek?

Peek is a widget app that lets you send photos to a best friend's home screen. You and your friends see each other's latest photos every time you unlock your phone — a quick Peek at how the people you care about are spending their day.

How it works
1. Add the Peek widget to your home screen
2. When a friend sends a photo, it appears on the widget right away
3. Tap the widget to send a photo from camera or album — it shows up on their home screen too

D-day
Pick a D-day when you send a photo and it shows on the home screen widget as D-1 or D-Day. Use it for the day you started dating, a birthday, an anniversary, or an exam. It works as a couple widget and as a photo for best friends. Skip it and the widget stays a photo.

Built for best friends only
• Share photos only with people who join via invite link or QR. No open discovery
• No follower counts. Invite best friends and family, and focus on the moment
• Share as you are, only with people who matter

React to friends' photos
• Reply to a widget photo in chat
• Your friend gets a notification, and you can browse shared photos in the feed
• Not a likes contest — honest sharing among people who are close

You can block anyone anytime if you change your mind.

Download Peek for free. Send photos to friends, family, and best friends, and shrink the distance from your home screen.

Permissions (optional)
- Camera: take photos to share on the widget; scan invite QR codes
- Photos: pick widget or profile photos from your library
- Notifications: new widget photos and channel messages

You can use Peek without granting optional permissions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.33 — 2026-11-04

Long-press a chat bubble to copy its text, or — on your own messages — edit or delete.
Edited messages show (edited). You can change the text, add or remove photos, and drag to reorder attachments. Widget photo replies can be copied or deleted, but not edited. Deleting a message cannot be undone.

### 1.0.32 — 2026-11-01

Pin a chat to the top of the list, or leave it with a long press.
Pinned chats stay above Newest and Unread. In Manage channels, drag pinned chats to change their order. Newest follows the latest message.

D-days, photos, and links for a channel now live together.
Shared photos group by year. Tap one to fill the screen. Shared links show as preview cards and open in the app. Long-press a photo you are about to send and drag it to change the order.

### 1.0.31 — 2026-10-28

Browse widget photos in a grid, and save or share a photo from chat.
Open the grid on the feed to see photos together, then tap one to fill the screen. A widget photo in chat shows who sent it and the D-day.

Sort chats by newest or unread. Select several channels to mark them read or leave them at once.

### 1.0.30 — 2026-10-26

A countdown now shows on the Home Screen widget.
Create a date in your channel, like the day you started dating, and choose it when you send a photo. Friends see the days left on their Home Screen.

### 1.0.29 — 2026-10-25

Sending and viewing photos in chat is easier.

• Pick from recent photos, the camera, or your album
• Tap a photo to see it full screen, and flip through more than one
• Photos and text in a message sit together more neatly
