It’s not letting me open the app and taking me back to my screen. I love the app when it works though I even recommended it to my sister but now not rlly bc it is rlly money grabbing just like the other review said. Money grabbing **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concerns about the pricing and paywall. Every case on Peekie includes a free portion to try, while access to the full case currently requires a subscription. We put a lot of time and effort into crafting the stories, puzzles, and clues behind each case, and we’re currently releasing 5–10 new cases every week so there’s always something new to investigate. We also will continue exploring ways to offer players more options. Thank you for trying Peekie and for taking the time to share your honest feedback. ### 1/5 — Paying scam *2026-08-22* I love the concept of this game, but when i reached the sixth question out of nineteen questions. I was forced into a paying loop where i could not advance in the game unless I subscribed for a ridiculous amount of money. It is disappointing that the game would stop me from solving the case because they just want my money. They wait until you are hooked in the case and then spring you with an unescapable trap of having to pay. I just wanted to be a detective. **Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words about the concept — and I'm sorry the subscription prompt landed the way it did. Running into it at question 6 of 19, right when you're deep in a case, is genuinely a bad moment, and we understand why it felt like a trap rather than a choice. That's on us: we should be much clearer, before you start a case, about how much of it is free to play. We've shared your feedback with the team and are reviewing where that boundary sits. ### 2/5 — Fun untill it stops *2026-08-25* It was easy sign it you don’t have to put email or anything but as you start the game you play till around 6-8 tasks and then it stops asking you to pay to continue which I think is unfair since other reviews say it was free? I wouldn’t believe them I think their fake and you shouldn’t waste your money. Overall the game is fun but it wants you to pay. I had no ads either. I just wished it didn’t stop until a couple tasks finished to ask you to pay, if you really want to continue to play you could buy it but I wouldn’t want to waste my money. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad to hear you’re enjoying Peekie! You mentioned seeing other reviews saying the game was free — we’re not sure where that information came from, as we’ve never advertised Peekie as being completely free. We also appreciate your feedback about being able to continue through ads and the timing of the paywall.
