## What is Peekmo?

You forget things you wrote down because you never open the note again.

Peekmo keeps short notes on your Lock Screen and in a Home Screen widget. Recycling day, a family birthday, taking your medication — the things you know but keep missing, back in front of you every time you pick up your phone.

Write it, and it is on the widget
One input field sits above the list. New notes are pinned by default, and only pinned notes reach the widget. No folders, no tags, no formatting — this app is the few lines you must not forget.

Seeing notes on the Lock Screen
· Lock Screen widget — press and hold the Lock Screen, tap "Customize" and then "Lock Screen", and add the Peekmo widget under the clock
· Home Screen widget — press and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen and add it there
· Pinned notes also stay visible in StandBy and on always-on displays

Notes stay on the device
No account, no server. Notes never leave the device, and deleting the app deletes them with it. Only the minimum is collected automatically: crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) and banner ad delivery (Google AdMob, non-personalized). No tracking.

Every feature is free. One banner ad sits at the bottom of the home screen.

### 0.1.8 — 2026-09-02

Widgets now show more pinned notes based on their size. Make a widget larger to see more notes, with an accurate count of those not shown. Body text in the “Hot Pink” theme is now white for easier reading.

### 0.1.7 — 2026-08-29

Background colors in Theme Settings now include separate Hot Pink and Pink options. The new Hot Pink applies a vivid pink across the entire screen, while the original pale shade remains available as Pink. Pink is also available as a text color, and your selected colors carry over to the Home Screen widget.

### 0.1.5 — 2026-08-26

Theme has been added. Open it from the palette icon in the top-right corner of the memo list or from Settings. Choose a background and text color on one screen, and the change applies immediately.

Background options are Default, Hot Pink, Peach, Lemon, Mint, Sky, and Lavender. Text options are Match Background (Automatic), Ink, White, Hot Pink, Blue, Green, and Purple. Brightness adjusts to the current light or dark appearance, and the selected Theme also applies to the Home Screen widget. Text color samples appear on the selected background, and the app warns you about combinations that may be hard to read.

Support inquiries can now be sent from an in-app web page. You can attach up to three photos and leave an email address for replies.

### 0.1.4 — 2026-08-25

• Fixed a bug where new notes were not saved to your list. Notes you write now stay put.
• Removed the app name line from the widget, so more of your notes fit.

### 0.1.3 — 2026-08-24

“Buy the developer a coffee” in Settings now actually works. Until now the screen was there but nothing could be sent.

Writing notes and putting them on the widget is unchanged. A coffee unlocks nothing and removes no ads.
