## What is Peer Support Alliance?

Peer Support Alliance (PSA) is a free, 18+ peer-support community for mental health, made for people in the United States. It is a calm, welcoming place to connect with others who understand, share what you're going through, and offer a little encouragement to someone else.

PSA is built on one idea: none of us should have to go through it alone.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Join topic rooms and talk with peers: Main, Anxiety, Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and Autism.
• Send direct messages one-to-one when you'd rather talk privately.
• React to messages and share photos.
• Find help fast: tap-to-call mental health hotlines, a warmline link, and a community Zoom meeting, all in one Resources tab.

A COMMUNITY THAT LOOKS OUT FOR EACH OTHER
• Report any message that crosses a line, and our team reviews reports.
• Block anyone you don't want to hear from.
• Clear community expectations, with moderation to keep things respectful.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ
PSA is a peer-support community, not a healthcare provider, counseling service, or crisis line. Members are peers, not licensed professionals, and PSA is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, you deserve immediate help: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 for emergencies. A 988 button is always one tap away inside the app.

You must be 18 or older to join. PSA is currently only available in the United States.

### 5/5 — What we need

*2026-07-28*

PSA serves a largely unmet need among those struggling with their mental health - an anonymous community of nonjudgmental support. Highly recommended to those who would like to bolster clinical support with 24/7 peer support, or those who aren’t able or ready to see a therapist. (Note: this is not a substitute for clinical therapy)

### 5/5 — Fantastic Mental Health Resource

*2026-07-28*

This app is fantastic for mental health. Chatting with peers helps so much knowing that there are others dealing with the same things as me. There are different rooms for different illnesses, emergency line call buttons, and more. It’s fantastic!
