## What is PeerScore?

Have you ever given a loan to a friend or acquaintance and found it difficult to get it back? Do you run a microlending operation and have a high default rate? PeerScore allows you to leverage the power of social network and peer pressure to get your money back.
How it works
PeerScore leverages the fact that most people are mindful of their reputation especially within their inner circle and would do everything possible to keep it positive. PeerScore uses a unique credit reputation score (your #peerscore) and open disclosure within a bad debtor’s social network to shape credit behaviour and facilitate higher payback and low defaults.
If you’ve lent money to anyone who refused to pay when due, just initiate a repayment demand on peerscore (all you need is the phone number of the debtor) and PeerScore will do the rest.
In addition, PeerScore helps you keep track of your transactions with creditors and debtors so you never miss any due payment to keep your #peerscore high.
