## What is Peflog?

Peflog asthma tracker makes Peak Expiratory Flow monitoring and assessment and reporting super easy.

All data is stored into your own account so that you have full control of it and we don't share your data with anybody else.

Peflog asthma monitor supports treatment decisions, it works as an asthma assessment helper, and it can be used for asthma self monitoring and reporting with ease.

It helps asthma doctors, nurses and users workload by automating and digitising manual phases to export, transform, present and send data that is needed for asthma monitoring and diagnosis. Peflog understands bronchodilatation and it creates comprehensive reports.

I'm a father of four and found traditional PEF monitoring boring, time consuming and error prone. I tried to use pen and paper with my children but it didn't really work out. I created snappy Peflog app for myself and for my children in order to make asthma tracking as easy and fast as possible for everybody.

### 5/5 — A must have!

*2025-03-24, version 4.3.1*

Great app, I’ve recently had my asthma review and showed this app and the report, my doctors are now recommending this to patients.

### 4/5 — Good app. Could do with more features.

*2024-10-01, version 4.3.1*

Good app. Easy to use, simple to log. Does have a bit of a scrolling issue when the keyboard is visible, though it’s not major.

Thing is what I need is to be able to correlate peak flow with daily activities like exercise and exposure to triggers.

That said, I’m not sad I spent £2 on this. It’s simple and their use of personal data is minimal.

### 4/5 — Simon

*2024-09-23, version 4.3.1*

Seems like a pretty good app and easy to log and get reports. But for some reason I cannot add my name under “my account”. Not a big deal but irritating when information is requested but can’t be entered.

### 5/5 — Sehr gut

*2024-05-13, version 4.3.1*

### 5/5 — simple and effective

*2023-07-04, version 4.2.1*

previously i had been using pen and paper to chart my PEF lung function. i would get confused where to plot. in comparison, this app is a much easier and a more efficient way for tracking my asthma condition.

some feature suggestions (not essential, i like the app simplicity too) : easier way to input medications - ie preset favourites. also, i would like to see some more customisable options (scales, tick boxes etc) for categorisations, ratings of shortness breath and work, current infection/unwell/allergy flare up etc.
these could provide further useful insights for the user and guide their medical management

### 5/5 — Learn your illness!

*2022-08-29, version 4.0.4*

This is an amazing app I have used since 2019 post hospital admission for asthma. It has enabled me to monitor and learn about my illness and see trends of deterioration and improvement due to extrinsic factors such as weather etc. It is great to share with Health Care Professionals who only see a snapshot of our PEFs & can thus see our true best & worse PEFS during good health and asthma management & bad health too.

### 4/5 — Change is difficult

*2022-06-13, version 4.0.2*

I’ve been using this really useful app for years - but I really do not like the new look. At least the measurement recorder has returned to numbers rather than that horrible sliding scale, but I find the new graph layout cluttered and difficult to read (and I use charts all day long). I miss the clarity of the old charts. Still good for tracking peak flow but a star dropped for the decline in clarity

### 3/5 — Very useful app but why fix what isn't broken?

*2022-06-06, version 4.0.0*

Useful to be able to monitor my PEF without having to carry around paper diary, but the new layout is difficult to use. Much preferred the time buttons eg 1 week / 1 month / all time, and it took me ages to work out that to log a PEF measurement, I have to tap on the inhaler button… used to be a 5* app but not anymore :(
