That’s a bit much. I purchased 240 coins for $8 several months ago. These are five major problems that need to be fixed. If they were fixed, I will up the review. It’s a good game, but because of that it’s annoying and not fun to play. They make money when you click in frustration trying to return to the game. I’m not seeing constant ads, but I get the option to watch ads for bonuses, etc, which is fine. If I run out of lives and have to wait, in my opinion, that encourages sane gameplay. Plus, you can replay previous levels without having lives if you REALLY need a game to play at that exact moment you ran out of lives. Big problem I’m having is I can’t turn off the sound effects or music. I want to listen to other things while I play, but I can’t turn peggle’s sound off without just lowering all my volume. I see the buttons both in-level and in the main menu settings, but when I tap them nothing happens. Other buttons work, for example I was able to turn off the personalized ad settings, just not the sound and music. It makes it way less playable for me because the sounds and music are annoying when I don’t want them on. ### 1/5 — You want what? Had it on PC and all. This version? Impossible. They have these gnomes (that makes you hit the ball twice before it disappears), ice (that makes you hit the ball THREE times before it disappears) AND bombs (that make you lose automatically after 5 ball throws) in ONE level. Dude, it’s impossible. I’ve tried like 50 times but this is ridiculous at this point. It’s SO clear that they’re just making levels hard so you spend money on extra balls. No way man. It’s just so scummy because Peggle is such an old game! Also I’ve literally never written a game review before and that tells you how strongly I feel. This one looks and runs great - until the ads come in. The wait for new lives is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. Being forced ads and no option for an ad free version definitely is. But it made me watch an ad and I closed the app to reopen it to skip the ad and I had to try to complete it but lost and it was my last life so I’ve had enough. ### 1/5 — Peggle Blast is such a disgrace to the original Peggle *2026-08-08, version 4.1.0* I played Peggle Blast from 3/28/25 to 7/10/26 and I can confirm it's one of the worst games I've ever played. Back when my Xbox 360 worked in 2017-2020, the original Peggle was so goated before EA bought PopCap. It truly was felt like playing a video game. The original 2000s developers want you to win. I kind of wish I was conscious in 2009 and not a baby thanks to games like these. However, with Peggle Blast they want you to lose so you're forced to pay money to win later in the game. Amongst reviews, the two common complaints I’m seeing are about the ads and the difficulty. It’s 2026 and somehow, some people don’t know that you can just turn on airplane mode to avoid all ads while playing OR you can simply close the app and reopen whenever you get an ad without it affecting level progress. This game certainly has some difficult levels; it took me roughly 6 months to complete this game in its entirety. For some of the difficult levels you have to run trial and error and come up with a legitimate strategy for the given unique level. Some of the boss levels are hard but I noticed that if you force quit the app and reopen it, that you will come back on level 2/4, 3/4, or wherever you were without it resetting to the first stage. This method is also good for unlimited lives because if you force quit the app when you lose a level, you won’t lose a life for it. ### 5/5 — More levels please! *2026-03-15, version 3.3.4* I’ve finished the game once before and I’m hanging back on finishing it again,so can we please have more levels?
