It’s terrible if you’re using it as a stand alone, but they do kind of tell you that up front. Buttons in the app are glitchy. Reward points don’t always go through (especially on weekends). I had used it to quit smoking back in 2019 and remained a non smoker for multiple years until recently when I slipped due to many reasons. I was looking forward to use the app I knew as it was very helpful using CBT and other effective methods, but I just learned that it was sold to a bigger company that only works through employers. I had paid the full price for the app access at 60USD and now I can’t even access this app as my employer doesn’t sponsee this app. Sad day for me. ### 1/5 — Pelago *2025-11-21, version 25.45* Horrible app ### 1/5 — Can’t change your program *2025-07-28, version 25.29* I signed up for an employer incentive. It said on the sign up that you could change your program after you sign up, but I cannot find any way to do that whatsoever. I have never used an opioid in my life, but thanks to a misclick on sign up, this app now insists I have an opioid problem and provides no way to change that. ### 1/5 — Unbelievable *2025-07-22, version 25.29* I literally just downloaded the app never used anything never talked to a doctor nothing! A month later my insurance was charged $2900 for a “visit” on the day I downloaded the app and I’m expected to pay a co-pay as well. And it gave me hope that one day, and against great mental health odds, that despite what numerous doctors were saying, that I was going to be able to quit smoking. HOPE WAS ALIVE! But now, with the changes made to the app, Hope is Again Lost. It’s such a shame because I had promising feelings from the No Butts app, it just wasn’t the right time to face such a challenge due to a hostile work environment, a relationship with a diagnosed sociopath, a world altering injury…. Yeah…. I just wish quitting could not be impossible for me. I thought this app held the answer… but alas….
