Exactly what I need for shooting Analog Film in a modern world

Pellica makes it easy to keep track of camera settings, locations for photographs, and add the data back to photographs once they are in digital form. Pellica also provides a way to track & sort your film inventory before rolls expire, keep track of photographic gear, a light meter, nearby photo labs, and developing recipes. You can also track costs of various items.

In the 5 months I have been using Pellica I have seen Imad make changes that make sense & improve the app’s intuitiveness & usability greatly. Pellica annoyances, Imad fixed without any prompting. Great job & Thank you for a great Analog Film Photography App Imad!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this! Hearing that the changes of the last five months made Pellica easier to use for you made my day. I'll keep going. Happy shooting! — Imad, Pellica

Map malfunctioning

Returns to current location when browsing around the map.

Response from developer

You found a real one, and you described it precisely enough that I could go straight to the code that caused it. Thank you for that. The map was re-centring itself on your position when it had no business doing so. You would pan across town to look at labs somewhere else, and it would pull you straight back. Browsing more than a few streets away was close to impossible, which makes the lab map fairly useless. That was a bug, not a setting, and it is fixed. The map now stays exactly where you leave it. It frames your position once when you open it, and after that it moves only when you ask it to, with the locate button or a search. The fix ships in the next update, with tests that fail if this behaviour ever comes back. If you give the map another go, I would genuinely like to know whether it feels right to you now. — Imad, Pellica

Response from developer

따뜻한 리뷰 정말 감사합니다! 혼자 만드는 앱이라 큰 힘이 됩니다. 즐거운 필름 생활 되세요! — Imad, Pellica

Indispensable film management!

Here is the first useful and simple-to-use yet complete system for keeping track of film exposures; it’s brilliant!

Response from developer

Thank you — exactly the kind of review that keeps a solo dev going. "Useful, simple, complete" was the brief from day one (after juggling four apps to do what one should), so really glad it landed. And the username made me smile. If a self-described reluctant iUser still finds something indispensable on iOS, that's a high bar passed. If you ever spot a missing feature or a rough edge, drop me a line via the support email :)
