Very cluttered. App is better than previous editions , going back decades to when they were a federal bank and not some weird state bank with dreams of expansion. Been a member for over 30 years and every time you have to deal with Penair you can’t help but feel frustrated. They break promises, they stoped using the old flex card and wanted a fee for their new card, face to face promised us to send a new card for no charge and never did. Recently when our parents passed away they made it the most painful process possible . Again a higher up in the bank promised to contact us then never did. The app cannot recognize endorsement, despite previous versions having no issue. Somehow, the functionality was broken. Multiple iPhones and iPads have all exhibited the same issue. Calling Pen Air directly could not resolve anything, as the employees were unaware of the issue and unable to do anything to resolve it. However, I get an error message way too often and it’s simply aggravating!!! Especially when I need to transfer money in a hurry and I get “application error” and my accounts won’t show up. Please please fix this issue. I have an iPhone X. ### 1/5 — At some point… *2021-03-11* … credit unions became absolutely no different from banks. Edit: response to developer: Pen Air keeps sending me emails asking me to give feedback. They want to know if they’re doing enough for me, as a member. But then they pull this crap. They deliberately leave certain members behind, blame the members for their own corporate-level elitism, and tell their members ‘tough luck’. Are they doing enough for me as a member? Not even close. *** Why does my credit union feel the need to try to bully me into buying a new phone? Do they have some sort of down-low deal with the phone companies? Do all app makers? Maybe, instead of restricting people who are smart enough with their money to not replace a perfectly functional phone they like with an overpriced one that they don’t like just because it’s “old”, maybe continue to allow even your frugal members continue to access their accounts on their “dinosaur phones”. Three stars because I can still use the app, as of now. But I can no longer update it and will eventually no longer be able to use it. I’m not happy. ALL members should be important and not have access unduly restricted. Not just trendy ones who properly keep up with the Jones’. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. As new phones are released, operating systems are also updated and released. In order for our mobile app to stay compatible and functional with the new operating systems, we too have to make changes and update our apps, as with most apps. This is also for security as well. Unfortunately, you are correct in that after a while, most older phones stop receiving the updates for their operating systems, as they are no longer compatible and unable to support the new updates.
