Even if you follow the instructions on redeeming through the app, there’s no selection menu to use your reward points when checking out. I don’t mind ordering in person but sometimes I prefer the convenience of the app. Other than that the app is ok. ### 2/5 — Used to work *2026-05-24* When this app was first launched, it worked well and I could order. Now the app gets frozen after clicking “order now”, rendering it useless. Also, not being able to use Apple Pay to pay within the app is unfortunate. ### 1/5 — Not working *2025-10-24* App has not been working for almost 2 weeks. Had to place my order in-store and mentioned it to the cashier. A few times I wanted to use my free drink reward on the app, didn’t work. Found out you have to go to the reward section, click on the reward & order from there to use it. Then I had a $12 reward. Used it for 1 drink thinking it’ll apply as the “free drink” reward but no, it used all of the $12 for the 1 drink. It didn’t make sense. I thought it’ll only apply part of it and at the least, I’ll still have the remainder but no, it used it all up. Not great at all. There is no order history in the app to show the record of what you ordered. To me this app doesn’t even meet the basic requirements of what an online ordering system should have. Order on DoorDash/Postmates instead. ### 5/5 — Good app *2021-09-06* It’s a great app and there is no reason to not download this app if you go to pengo regularly.
