Would rather it just say “free game progression ends here” then i probably would just buy it but the way it is now just feels like its obviously trying to trick you out of your money. Really wish that wasnt the case because this game would be so cool otherwise. I wouldnt need any other games on my phone… ohwell i guess. ### 3/5 — Relaxing Game Interrupted Constantly *2026-03-25, version 1.93.0* This game has beautiful graphics and a very relaxing atmosphere, which makes it enjoyable to play when you want something calm and low stress. The overall design and visual style are clearly well thought out and that part of the experience is genuinely great. Unfortunately the number of ads really takes away from the gameplay. There are frequent ad based mechanics and progression often feels tied to watching ads rather than actually playing. On top of that many of the ads are unusually long or feel strange and out of place which makes the experience even more frustrating and interrupts the relaxing flow the game is trying to create. A good solution would be to offer an affordable monthly subscription (for example around $10) that removes ads and eliminates ad dependent features. This would still allow the developers to earn income while giving players a smoother and more enjoyable experience. I would happily pay that instead of the ads and micro transactions. Another option could be bringing the game to Apple Arcade. The relaxing style of the game would fit perfectly where players can fully enjoy it without constant interruptions. Overall the game has strong potential because of its visuals and calming vibe but reducing the reliance on long and excessive ads would make a huge difference. ### 2/5 — Вылет *2026-03-23, version 1.93.0* На IPhone 11 игра вылетает каждые 10 секунд. First, take the ads off. I can be enjoying my game is peace and then I get a stupid ad (sowi but it’s true) Second, if possible, make it so you can play offline. I try to play offline but it always kicks me out. Jump!”, os pinguins interagem com os objetos (com alguns pinguins especiais) que colocamos, é fácil de conseguir gemas e os penguins são muuuito bonitinhos! É um jogo que vc passa um tempão, sem perceber. The graphics, aesthetic, and sound design are excellent: from the penguin noises to the mellow music and splashing. The variety of penguins and Arctic animals adds charm and makes the island feel alive. Unfortunately, progression is overwhelmingly ad-driven. After a short time, it stops feeling like you’re playing a game and starts feeling like the game is playing you. Advancement depends on watching way too many ads, many of which are incredibly unpleasant and strange, completely breaking the relaxing atmosphere. Once the novelty wears off, you’re stuck in the same loop: watch ads, unlock a small upgrade, repeat. What should be relaxing turns into a rat race and a waste of time. Once you unlock a later isle it is completely impossible to upgrade unless you’re willing to put in weeks per isle. Very fun until whale island. I actually think this game would collab with Sky COTL very well. Just disappointed with the lack of things to do if you don’t want to purchase things within the app and it bugs me that there is always a notification for the option to BUY gems etc. it’s not very user friendly in the sense you’re making us focused on buying. I understand why but if there was more variety to this game — I’d love it. Unfortunately it’s a very repetitive game with nothing to do other than either wait days to progress or…well nothing. It’s sad you can have a penguin character but all it can do is collect items (which takes ages). Also sad that the skins for the areas and buy only. I think expanding this game to multiplayer / more personalised would be amazing and something I’d maybe invest towards but right now it’s very lack lustre. ### 3/5 — Bring back research!! *2026-01-05, version 1.91.0* Please bring back research!! I bought every special penguin. Completed every pass. But then that phone died. Couldn’t recover that account. Tried everything. It’s taken me years to actually get back on and start again. I love going to visit my old isle though, at least I know it’s there if I ever get an android phone again.
