I use an iPad with a keyboard attached, so am always in landscape mode. This version of the app is portrait mode only, so I don’t use it. I’ve been going to the gopsusports.com website to access all that is contained in this app, and working in landscape mode is no problem. ### 1/5 — Quits *2024-11-23, version 11.1.8* This app, as usual, blows. Try to listen to Steve and Jack postgame. App quits, can’t reconnect. Also not available via Carplay. App works less than half the time. Trying to manage ticket is so aggravating. This makes me want to give up any PSU tickets I have, just to not have to try to sell tickets, transfer tickets or download tickets. Sometimes I can look at them but can’t click on them, sometimes I can click on them but can’t view them, sometimes they’re all missing. For the Bowling Green game, I couldn’t even add them to my wallet until the day of. Cannot use credentials to log in. Was able to log in with Apple but then get error when try to access tickets. It won’t rotate on my iPad so I can view it horizontally. Graphics are blurry. Ticketmaster customer svc said it is a Penn State issue. Penn State said they are aware but are not pursuing it. Evidently the base of the issue is that the person who buys our tickets every year has an Android phone and sends them to me on my Apple. First year for it though. The new Nittany app release probably at fault. It just sits on the Lion head screen forever. If it does open, it crashes when trying to click on any link in the schedule. It is also super annoying to have to scroll through to the current date to see what teams are playing. If you select an article, the screen flips to white and closes the app. It only happens on iPads. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, I’ve loaded it on another iPad and it hasn’t helped. As soon as I click on one, I’m tossed out of the app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it with the same result. The app gives no way to reach a customer support function. It’s pretty much useless. ### 1/5 — Update causes app crashes *2025-02-24, version 11.2.0* If you try to open any of the news articles, it causes the app to crash and close. If you ask the virtual assistant a question about this app problem, the bot instructs you to download the very app you are currently using to chat with the bot. If you try to get app support, you are shown a “page not found” error.
