Meistens passiert einfach nichts wenn man auf Pennies Mini klickt. Deinstallieren lässt sich das ganze leider auch nicht. ### 2/5 — Great until we noticed a problem *2018-09-01* This was a great solution until we noticed that there’s no way to actually refill the budgets. You have to “top up” the budget which strangely gets calculated back into the original total (if you had $100, spent $50, then refilled $50 back, it’ll state the total incl top-ups is $150.) This also results in the visual indicator/watermark becoming inaccurate, since it seems to be based on this strangely calculated total. If you simply allow crediting a budget without this incl. top-ups concept, it’ll be perfect/5-stars. As is, we have to consider deleting all budgets every month which is a headache (something we’re trying to avoid with budgeting app.) ### 3/5 — Nice with some flaws *2018-01-22* Can't delete a budget once it's set. ### 3/5 — Great App Needs an update to critical bug *2017-12-29* I like the idea and simplicity of this app. We are seeing an annoying bug where once you’ve opened a budget it always reopens the same one despite what you click on unless you crash the app. Quite frustrating. ### 3/5 — Great concept just needs some efficiencies *2017-11-08* Great idea for iMessage loving people to keep and share budgets. The major “pain” with the app is the need to manually go into each budget and swipe down to update it or check for updates. If there is a way for the app to recognize when updates are submitted by other folks and make the update perhaps when you open the app from iMessage (a single “get” for all budgets at time of opening) that would really make the app more user friendly. Of course, it can’t be constantly checking for updates, I bet that would reek havoc on the battery. Also it would be great to be able to add multiple updates to a budget in a single text. Really hope the update feature can be improved- will recommend the app to friends with that added feature. The budget always shows as a different amount outstanding on mine and my wife's phone. Often a budget will stop working saying 'oops something went wrong' and I have to start a new budget to resolve the issue. Life is complicated enough—finally an envelope budgeting tool that’s as simple as paper envelopes. Such a great way to manage a few budgets with your family. I was so excited to stumble across this, and you’ve exceeded my hopes for the app. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Keeps my spouse and I on the same page *2017-02-03* This is the only iMessage app I have that I legitimately use. At the beginning of each month, I create all of our envelopes (budgets) and share them with my spouse. Whenever we incur an expense, we update the envelope or budget and send the update to each other. It's great because we always know how much we have left of x each month. I'm sick of the apps that link to bank accounts because it gets to be too much. Only negative is that you have manually open each budget and then swipe down to refresh. It is installed! Open iMessage and tap on the App Store icon next to the text input field. You can access it there. This is a really useful way to share a budget. It seems like a very great start and the app was ready on release day of iOS10. This developer is so good at what he does and makes sure his apps keep updated. The apps are simple and intuitive. Hopefully in the future we can see some integration with the parent app if the platform allows.
